Yes price was all inclusive, no i decided not to take the sps, as its still optional for later dates, please check as prices vary from one type to another, overall still very impressed from 2nd gear to 6th its very noticable 1st and second is almost similar to original just abit better, further more the car developed over-heating problem this morning 120C, I have realised the fans don't come on, so I am hoping it has nothing with map, I will have to phone up to see. If I knew it was this good I would have done it when I first got it.

Just wanted to give a massive thanks to the guys at AMD for transforming my S3 on Friday with the REVO stage 1 map. It was an excellent professional service and I will certainly be taking my S3 to AMD in the future for mods and servicing. The car feels absolutely great and made a whopping 331 BHP and 339 lbft on the dyno!!!

I'l post up the dyno graphs and some vcds logs etc in a separate thread later when I get time.

Torque: 282.9 lb/ft @ 3449 rpm

after remap
power: 322.8 HP

totally standard apart from Revo!

Yeh next is wheels induction and lower. I think I'm down to o.z allegeritas or bbs chbe in 18" Proper set of tyres. Then either evoms, forge or itg filter. Then some h&r springs, maybe coilovers if I can afford it! That's my stage 2

I have the TDI booked in for tomorrow, hopefully it should take it from 140 to 190 ish with the AMD stage 2 software. Will report back tomorrow.

apologies for the late reply but i eventually got my *** in gear and took the car down to amd to have the following done to my 2.0tfsi dsg earlier in the month

Revo stage1
Forge valve
Pipercross filter
Milltek non res catback

great guys that knows their stuff and i couldn't fault the quality of service, i was even offered a ride to the local shopping centre rather than having to hang around and wait!

anyway, i had 2 rolling roads done, one before map (but with the other additional items, saves from having to wait for everything to cool down) and an after.

before: 218bhp 227lb/ft
after: 242bhp 267lb/ft

slightly disappointed but was told that this could be because the car has 95ron fuel in rather than something like 99ron v-power. it was my fault anyway as i have bought the car a week before taking it to AMD and haven't filled the tank. i was told that power should increase once i put in some v power !

anyway after a couple of tanks of vpower, the drive is more stronger with a more powerful focus and sticking in S mode, the sound and speed is quite astonishing. only slight issue is that on regular slow drives, power can sometimes either not be there or come like a train, i am not sure whether this is because the ecu is still learning the driving habits or not. doesn't always happen though ...

i have called up amd since (spoke to shaun - great guy) and booked the car in this coming saturday to have a look.

fingers crossed it's an easy fix !

thumbs up to amd though ! will recommend to anyone and will be taking the car back for stage2 ........ once finance frees up
