Hi guys,

need some help..

am thinking about these wheels for x mas.. they are lightweight, different, quite rare, look wicked for 18"s and relatively well priced (i think). http://www.workwheelsusa.com/product.php?category=27&wheel=78

they can do custom pcd and they do options of flat face, semi concave or concave.. i would like to go with semi concave. They have three different offset options.

Would someone have a look and let me know whther any of the offsets will work??? there is a fitment link below http://www.workwheelsusa.com/media/wheels/27/78/Emotion_XT709.pdf

this golf has 8.5x18, 5x112, semi concave



let me know what you think of the wheels and whether they will fit? remember only semi concave! not interested in flat face!!!

apart from team dynamics pro race 1.2's.. what else do you think would look good on black S3's.. needs to be lightweight.. well priced... 18" and look biggish... ??

Not my cup of tea either, sorry!

If you're going for black rims, then 18's will always look small unless you have a polished / stainless lip to break it up.

BBS CH Black?.
Speedline Turinis?

Both in 8" wide rims too.

I would consider getting the BBS that Mattandrew has, anthracite is nice, he has CK or CH in 19's & admittedly they do look the dogs knackers.

Speedline is actually round the corner from me 3 minutes away, could nip over & get some, lol.

I'm in agreement with 10b - I think they look quite cool. In my opinion they suit the golf GTI and size wise in the GTI pic they look fine.

heres a link to the forum and thread page i found that pic... funny really i been looking at team dynamics pro race 1.2 and this same guy with the golf had them but changed them for these are getting cracks in the spoke on his TDPR1.2

Same here. Different is better.. last wheel topic i comment about peoples wheel choises ended to my comment

Work wheels are just little bit too expencive for me. Those pro race might be desent option unless i find something better for near same price.

EXACTLY! thats the look id like to go for.. jap look.. seen quite a few beemas like it that i loved and saw an rs4 like it!

tobycruse's car is quite jap tuner looking with his OZ Allergeritas... i am quite tempted by these also.... hmmmmmm options options..

Stop right there young man I hope you just mean the wheels and a bit of purposeful, racey-looking modding.

You can go far too far with the jap look and end up with a rice rocket S3...bad times!

Have a look at Rota wheels, they are pretty tasty if you want a slight jap street racer look which the ones in your original post clearly are!
