had a major crash last nite after hittin a deer on a country road!!!! flipped the car and rolled a few times. i cant believe how strong the car was! i walked out alive with no scratches...:yes: i feel so lost without my car though...

will post some pictures when i work out how to do it.
 
dude glad to here you ok, yet another s3 lives up to the 4start rating. they are my pet hate tho deers and munkjacks they will wright you car off and they come from no were, will you be getting another s3 then hope it hasn't put you off driving i always feel lost when i dont have my car to drive for what ever reason
 
well i love these cars to death so its a definite possibility in getting another one!!! i never actually got to mod it to how i wanted to. i've just made a photobucket thing so ill put some pictures up in a sec

i just copied the adress from when u tried to put it up and put the tags in place, just being helpful, shame to see how the car ended up but nice to know they stand up well to crashes!

That's some crash mate, glad you are ok! Another S3 bites the dust though....

And the vultures will come swooping in soon. :)
 
yh sad to see it go but im alive i guess lol very strong car though. and the airbag wasnt painful at all. just got a bit of whiplash today:blownose: cheers for puttin the pic up. i dunno how to put them up and ive got frustrated with it now. not a computer whizz.

were not vultures jojo we just like to keep a bit of every s3 going keep the soul alive as it was lol

Looks like you were a lucky boy after seeing the pic of your car, glad you got out alright...
 
good to know that the S3 will stand up well to a big crash. let me know if you are letting the vultures in... ;)
 
Not so good. My m8 hit a deer last weekend on his way to mine. Very light damage though in comparison.
 
Everyone seems to be hitting things at the moment. One guy at my work hit a monkjack deer and needed a new front bumper, then a week later another guy at work hit a phesant and needed a new fog light. ****** sucidal wildlife.
 
westle, that's a good one. It may well have also been an old deer - didn't think of that one ? Hence it's slow crossing speed ?
 
Does the S3 have the rating as an A3? I surely hope so.
 
nah it was a mutured deer around her 50's lol. cant really remember the size, just tried dodging it and ended up hitting it and 360ing into the small trees then ended up rolling for about 50 -60myards i think. i got more pictures i just dont no how to put them up....! the photobucket thing isnt working for me. but thanks for all the comments its much appreciated. i just wish i didnt try and avoid the f***er !!!!! :sign_unfair:
 
Sorry to see the state of the car mate. It truly is soul distroying, however the Audi gods have come up trumps and another one of our members is safe and sound.
I hope you get yourself another nice car and don't go blaming yourself as what is done is done. Chin up bud it could have been alot worse :):slapped:

When you upload a picture on photobucket, you should get a screen with all the pics in thumbnaul form, and when you move the cursor over the pic you want, a box should open with 4 different strings of text. You need to copy and paste the bottom one which starts with
, and the picture will show in the replies. :icon_thumright:

Bad luck on the crash, shame you lost your pride and joy at least your still in one piece.

What happened to the deer?
 
F**K that is a NASTY accident. I've been there and can only say whilst it does change you a bit. Not imediately but your probably going to have a few low months and feel a different person. Happily I assure you it doesn't last forever and you'll soon stop "re-living the moment" so you can get back to enjoying driving again.

Cannot believe how big a bend you've put in the rear quater! It's not only bent all the strength points but it's even bent the roof!! 10mph faster and those chassis creases probably would have caused the whole structure to collapse. You were very lucky but wow did the cabin hold up well.
 
very sorry to hear my friend, the most important thing is that u came out without any problems...
 
LMFAO it feels so bad to be a vulture.

I need the front part of one of the seats that pull out I burnt mine with a soldering iron, and the rear bumper insert.

Glad to see your ok chap I crashed mine 2 weeks ago causing £3300 worth of damage luckily mine is nowhere near as bad as yours and I should get it back v soon :)
 
HOpefully it will not put you off driving mate.....maybe you should go to a restaurant and order the biggest piece of venison you can find....get your own back. Im sure there will be another tasty S3 out there with your name on it. so are you getting the car back off the insurance or is it going to the scrappers?
 
sorry it took a long time guys...... finally figured it out how to upload a picture. lol dont i feel like a DIV. have fun looking at them and answers to the questioins.
Cabin was fine looks brand new.. who knows where the deer has gone. heaven i hope and i need to ring the insurance company to find out where my car is.

If you find out where the car is and u decide to sell off the parts...i am interested in the Metal mirror covers...the Concert 2 CD player (if you have one)....the aircon pressure switch.
sorry for trying to benefit from your loss, but its my understanding that you have to move fast with parts for these cars. PM me with answers.
