Great day and the weather was fantastic.

Good to put names to faces and meet some of you guys and girls.

Hope to see you next time, I might even pluck up the courage and take my car on the track:yahoo:

Thanks to all those who organised it

Cheers

Neil

Well, what can I say.... I'm currently sitting at work and I'm frikin knackered!

Thank you all to those who came to represent ASN, even though we didn't get all 50 cars in one go, we still had a good turn out! And it's YOU, the members, who make this site as successful as it is today! Hope you had a good time!!

Apart from some heavy fog and a bit of misty rain in the early hours, the weather held up great. I think I even got a slight tan. :)

And as usual, it's good to see the regulars turn up to chat, as I probably only see you once in the year at this event, and also nice to meet the new members who made their way for this event. Sorry I couldn't chat to all of you, there was too much going on, I couldn't keep up lol.

And finally, many apologies to, I think it was Eddie and Kev+missus? who we(me and Staz) accidently take the scenic route to the race track.... talk about going off road lol.

lol Really we should have done a U turn there but I thought that turning off would be more direct

I'm following Warren next time :)

Erm, what was that you were saying in the pub car park - you go first Jason, you know the way.... Perhaps you should be second in the queue next time Joe???

Seriously - thanks to you Joe for organising. Good to meet up with folks and have a chat and check out the cars - I liked the two M reg series 1 Audi 100 coupes.

The venue was first class again. It was our first visit to Castle Combe and we had great time. The laps around the track at the end of the day was a nice little bonus.Jojo many thanks to you for planning and the stand location. the turn out was great and it was good to see that most of the fifty named forum members were there. I said it after Audi in the park, i feel the following this forum now has is secound to none, and we alway's have a good time. Small local meet's to major event's members will turn up and show there support. Respect is due to all those who travel and make the meet's and event's happen. Again many thank's and hope to see you all again soon..

I broke my car on the way there. not good.
And very nearly made a fox's day a little worse than mine on the A46 on the way home. ( big sideways moment to avoid the ****** )
The weather was good ! alot better than i could ever have hoped for this late in the year !
Sorry i only spoke to jojo and a few others.

Great day guys, i had top fun at this event, it was great to see them audis and even the dubs go round the track with some pace, the sound of the S1's the V6 V8 and V10 audis were sending me crazy. only wish i had a ride in the RS6 audi experience car.....DAMN IT

the parade lap topped it off for me with all them audis rolling on one track and a few times giving it some after a bit of space opened up:hubbahubba: i want to do it again and again and again lol anyway it was a brill day out and sorry didnt get to talk to everyone, always next time!!!!

cheers jojo,mark,stace,rob

Ye was a really good day. Nice weather, nice atmosphere and nice Audi's. Really enjoyed the event except for when I returned back to my car to find a nasty scratch on my passenger side, not happy but overall top day.

Sorry to hear about the scratch mate. Any ideas how it happened? If its not too deep you could always pop around and I will see if I can get it out with the polisher.

WTF hearing that makes me so
Why do people do that ..

how did ppl get a chance to ride in the RS6 experiance?

Well what an amazing day!! I really did have a good time and yet again I got sun burn!! After two cups of free tea and some free pens etc I even got that famous blokes autograph!! Woop woop. Really looking forward to the next meet.

Argh I missed out! I accidentally got a bit wasted after work on Friday as my colleague was having a last night of freedom before his wife-to-be gave birth, which incidentally was 11.48am on Saturday morning.

I woke up at 5.30am & was still too drunk to drive, so I thought it best to give it a miss :(

Hah! You, and the rest of the S3 boys disappeared into the distance, I was following a slow Dicky who took a wrong turn, and I followed suit lol. :Flush:

Any news from Rob about this award Mark?

I know what we got. :moa:

Thanks for the suggestion. I can fit my finger nail in the scratch so not sure it will come out. I was quite happy with how my car was looking too yesterday and this will bug me till I get it sorted now.

Il try and touch it up and see how it looks. It looks like someone has opened their door to far and given mine a scratch as it about 2 inche long and gets deeper. Oh well, not many honest people around these days it looks like.

Cheers guys for a great day. Nice to see both the usuals and meet some new faces.

Top day with great weather...

Sorry Joe for leading you down the wrong route on the way to the track, I was following the rest of the guys so its their fault really lol!

Seems we all got a bit confused LOL. Don't know who was behind me? but I was following Ashley (Benskin) and we ended up driving a couple of miles down a lane. Eventually realised the error and had to perform a 3 point (20 for me) turn in the narrowest lane concievable!

Sorry I didn't make it! I was really looking forward to it but me and my girlfriend have both come down with flu.
Absolutely gutted as I really enjoyed Audis in the Park. :( There's always next year...

Lol sorry Martyn the person i was following disappeared! Next time i follow you and the road was quite narrow.

Only just caught up with this thread at the crazy hour of 4am. lol

Was your car actually scratched/keyed on the ASN stand?! Absolutely shocking if it was, amongst other Audi enthusiasts.... how can anyone turn up for an event like this and go round doing this type of sh!t?!!?!?

I've not even had a look around my own car yet, drove it back and staright into the garage, then to work....

hope you get it sorted soon though bud.

It was a great day out, so many lovely toys too. :) Though i'm not quite sure why a lotus was there... he even tried to get on the last parade lap with all us AUDI guys.. WTF!!
It was good to meet some new faces and finally put a few more faces to names.
Roll on next year :)

I think he had an Audi 1.8T engine in, and therefore thought he'd get on....that's how he got in :s

Was a great day out, didn't get to see any of you guys, as was running around like a daft sod sorting A8OC club stuff out......however, I did take the '8 out, and thrash her around the circuit :D

Well what can i say? An awsome day, the weather held out, plenty of like minded and friendly people. The whole day would not have been what it was without you lot, so give yourselves a pat on the back.

There were some very clean cars, and some very dirty ones on the stand, and it mattered not, it was good you all made it. I was busy most of the day doing "stuff" and chatting/scanning so didnt take as many pics as i thought, but here are the best i have.

This is what it looked like at the RV point

Still not an Audi though :noway:. Still... i'm suprised he was allowed in, wonder if it was anything to to with the place making a bit of extra cash?! Oh well!!!

Aah so you're the one thrashing the 8 then!! Had a quick look at some of the A8's. Very nice :icon_thumright:. Those V8+ engines sound really nice. Nearly bought an S8 before i bought the S4.. it was fully loaded too and it had brand new 20" rims on it!!

Hi everyone,

I had the red A4 Avant if anyone spotted it lurking at the back of the stand!

This was my first ever Audi event and the first one with audi-sport.net, so thanks to all especially jojo for the organisation. He's a top friendly guy as well!

Must admit I was a tad annoyed at being driven almost off-road on the way there, however I will know now for next time...

On the plus side though it was great weather and it was wonderful to see all those people who take pride in their cars.

He was with me and he wanted to go out on the track so he asked and they said yes

No I don't know why he wanted to do the parade lap either, he just followed me :keule:
