Seeing that the cat is well and truly out of the bag. I thought i would stick a few pics for what it's worth of my new car.

I had to downsize for various reasons, and Lee came to my rescue.

So i went on the Bay and found this.

She needed some more work than was first visable. Brakes all around, Springs, an Arm, Cv gaiters, a damn good clean. And as yet some new tyres still

Oh and massive fail.

I wont bore you with the new parts pics, as they are all std repalcements

A good base to start from, Mark.

Compared to yours, mine was dog rough when I got her. I doubt Byzan A4 looked as good as you got her either, so roll on the mods!

You'll have her looking as good as your SE-T, if not better.

S4 badge went within 10 mins of getting her home. She is a keeper, but i will have to collect some bits now as i go along.

She still needs a drivers wheel arch cover, all four lower door strips, a facelift grille ( as i sold the RS4 one it had,lol) The alarm sounder has caught fire at some point, took me ages to trace that burning smell. I will try some kind of alternative for that.I refuse to fork out £80 for a new unit
The exhaust has seen better days, but appears to be airtight currently so will have to suffice. The DIS is dodgy, shame i put the new dash in the SE huh?? LOL

I think a stealth approach is required here. Maybe eventually get the lower trims and bumper lowers colour coded, better brakes some decent shocks and a much larger turbo will suffice. But hey, the purple one was always gonna remain standard too.....

You're missing my point.

It's not really downsizing (long term at least) if he's about to spend several grand modding this one.

well no, but i suspect it releases the cash he requires at the moment, and as and when funds are available he can mod the new motor.

I did a few cheap things to my car today.

Tinted the tail light rev section with some tint i had from Ras A4

I had some tint spray too so did the repeators

And while i was there i de tangoed the front lights too.

Nope, spent the cash buying tyres, thought it was a more prudent use of fundage. Have whacked some more bits on the 'bay, if they go, i will order the grille and black the surround

Needed a car mate,thats all. When the deal was struck off Ebay, i worked out what it needed immediatly and got on it. TimmyAudi had just put an S4 bumper on his black A4 so his facelift bumper was asking me to buy it. Being the correct colour, no spraying required, job is a good 'en i say.
Keeps me mobile, and in the 4 rings, when I could quite have easlily bought a small run around
