i hate little chavy mother fu**ers in their saxos, zetec s's and ****** corsa's. they think they driving round in a lambo or summin with their loud big bore exhausts, when you hear a car going flat out in 1st gear for more than 5 seconds it starts to get very embarrasing but these chavvy shits love it, you see them with 5-6 little girls in the cars showin off to them trying to get their little willys a playing with at the end of the nite, oh and to top it off they think they are touring car racers cuz they get themselves a set of black wheels(15inch) and decide to take out their back seats to save weight(15kg of foam) for feck sake little ones you got fiesta's corsa's and ***** saxo's i dont mind a bit of weight saving but it has to be for a purpose(racing,rally) not to save weight for cruzing round your local town and parking up in car parks beeping your horns you chavvy little ***** toss bags of crap peanut piking out of **** dildo sucking little scrape on my shoe mother fu**ers

rant over with until i see another one roll by me thinking they can mess wit my S4 and quattro............PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grant it kill's me every time i hear BOOM BOOM and then the car come's into view
and it's a corsa worth less then the stereo, going no were fast .But i think this is how there tiny little mind work's . - Cheap car then add some extra large wheels then add a dose of halfords back box (the bigger the better) then add a bass box from cash converter's then a pinch of cheap seat cover's and some neon light's and ther you have it a tiny minded **** in box. Don't rise to these kid's .
 
I laugh at them, Not worth losing your licence over a 50bhp Corsa, Paxo. Someone wanted a race in a beaten up Nova the other day i just laughed and drove on....
 
I find this quite amusing, I'm pretty sure quite a lot of us went through this chav stage with sub woofers in our boots! I had a mk2 Golf 1.3 that was a GTI Lookey Likey with sounds, maybe of better taste than a Corsa/Paxo, but it's that same type of thing right?

I have to agree, a lot of nice grown up "car enthusiasts" of which there are many on here started out at a tender age ragging something around. I know I did. I have no problem with the kids who add an exhaust/tints/wheels to there shopping trolley. My gripe is with the idiots obsessed with getting a feature in max power and as suck max their credit cards on stupid custom paint/bodywork that makes a saxo look like a punto like a civic etc etc. These people are generally ***** little chavs with little confidence and love nothing more than replies of "sick mate" from people they have never met on krooze forums. :tocktock:
 
thing is, ive never been in that stage, my first car was a VW jetta then a golf then a 318i(CACK) then my first audi(1.8se) and ive never wanted anything else and now im on my S4 i dont think anything will take me away from audi, my cousin has got a zetec s and fair play he has done well with it and its subtle not chavvy but he talks to me about stripping his interior and getting a sports cat to bump power to .....................150bhp, no offnce but wot the feck is the point in spending lots o money(he wants a shawspeed conversion,cams,sports cat,manifold,launch control,and a map) he said that would give him about 165-170bhp for early £2000 in summin that weighs a ton bang on, dont get me wrong it will be quick off the mark but it will still be off my S4 and i have the build quality,luxury,power,torque,speed,my back seats and my spine intact. do me a favour and feck off away from me and stop talking *****, get a real car and put your money into it and stop wasting it on a stupid little **** of a car like you zetec s, corsa,punto,saxo. i might sound like a right t**t about this but you know im right.

I had a Corsa which I loved with all my heart back in the day. We've all been there (mine was a 230 BHP C20XE engined one)!! But I think it's worse now than when I was 17/18. Neons and car seat covers? I wouldn't of touched them with a barge pole!!

But I agree, the sound of BOOM BOOM, especially in the middle of a town centre or at traffic lights is annoying as hell!
 
I had a car with a 15" black wheels for a while....I must have been a chav :blink:

...yet I am neither a chav nor motherf*cker. However this appears to be the assumptions you are making based in part on a particular choice of car and/or modifications, which I find more than a little insulting.

Its not like many, many Audi drivers are adverse to a little exterior and/or interior modification either (even on, shock horror, this website too), and the exact same modifications at that (wheels, exhaust, body kit, dump valves, paint, de-badge, de-wiper, body smoothing and lowering to name a few!). Do these not deserve the same contempt or do the four rings, or mere "status" of the vehicle, automatically make them more acceptable?

As for the rest I'd put it down to youthful exuberance, you do remember that, don't you? Yes, there are some complete and utter knob-jockeys out there, but then they'd be the same whatever car they were driving. ** Sadly it no longer looks like that (showroom condition when I sold it!) as some genuine chav scrote thought a roundabout would look better sans its associated signage and assorted shrubbery, and gave the Punto pride of place instead! To make matters worse it sat forlornly not too far from where I live and I regularly witnessed it being subjected to his own unique brand of "repair". Needless to say it may as well been some £150 junker that had been thoroughly abused its entire life. Whatever the vehicular equivalent of mourning is I did it! :(

I was going to change the rear drums for the disc's from a Punto GT, but then I decided to forgo 4 discs on a Punto and go for 4 rings on a grill! :jump:
 
Just seen this... well funny. Twiggy..... I dislike chavs but only the ones that have that in your face attitude. Big bore exhaust box or... 'fart box' for short :)

I never really went down that street personally... by the time i was 18 i had a 12 month old XR3i and by the time i was 20 had a 18 month old RST, then by the time i hit 22/23ish I had a RS Cossie.

Shades - you have some valid points there. However they seem to give you that general impression with their attitudes (like i've already said).

Oh well.... such is life!

I had one too when I was younger... 1.3sr, completely standard and mint condition. Loved that car, no idea why I sold it at the time.

They are actually really fun cars, just as they are so plentiful and cheap that the chavs gave them a bad name.

If you are at the lights and happen to be next to one, wait till he gives you that look, then start inching forward like you wanna make a fast getaway. He will inevitably take the bait. As the lights turn green he will burn rubber away from the line, ....

the first car i had was a fiat uno, i loved that car the plate read C299 KAK and that was the car to a t spent over 3 grand on it over 5 years just on cheap things like fiat sx seats and turbo alloys etc etc but then striped the car and droped a uno turbo in it and my god she flew and there went much round here that could catch it but then went and got a r reg punto turbo with the abarth kik in silver. so i think we all went through it but i wernt one of those who sat in a car park all night showing off and doing stupid things like they do now
 
Oh no lol, this is my current car. Nice and simple, the left morette has a cold air intake for a viper. Its a 1.6 with lexmaul inlet (£300 15bhp+) but i must say it munches up the miles and yes ive decided to grow up hence me being here. I now await your **** taking comments :sorry:

i could not agree more with jojo
i still drive round with my boom boom.... i drive an Audi. its 1.8 and it has a real turbo!! I think the modified car scene has been stereotypically ruined by "chavs" This is why im known as a "chav" on here. Because i like to mod my car how I want it not how the Audi world wants it. I love my music, and i like it loud with quality. I like Led number plate lights, i like HIDS i like BIG alloys, i like lowering the car.... does that make me King chav? Oh but hold on..... Everyone else does this to there cars on ASN!!!!

Stereotypical comments like i have seen up there ^^^ gets on my tits. Im 28, im married, i have 2 kids, i own my house, i own my car, i have a full time job. I am not like these so called "chavs" other than the fact i have bass in my car! The youngens are just like we all was.... driving licence, small engined car, hunting for fanny!! 98.9% of all enthusiasts started off there driving life like that!

Some people really need to get there head out there *****!!

But surely, My 19" 2 tone wheels on my lowered silver a4 with modded air box is chavvy based on some of the comments?

And that silver corsa on here... very neat! I do like tidy modded corsa's, though these big body kit jobbies are not to my taste, though fair play to them(even if i dont see the point) if they want to be unique. Even better if they drop some power into it! The little saxo VTR's usually own my to 30... then i fly past. I can be a sucker for the race from lights. (so long as conditions are 'right').

I had a Rover 214i (bubble shape) with 17" wheels. I still think it looked pretty neat.

Bearing in mind I'm only 19 and still a little kid inside, so can and do get carried away sometimes until my sensible side kicks in. One thing that really bigs me though, is these kids with their caps pointing to the sky, wearing all their Addidas sports clothes in their cars, driving like theyre on a race track around the residential areas with a car full of people!!! Flying round blind bends almost on 2 wheels. no wonder insurance for young people is so ****** high with these t**ts around!

Thats my bit done! lol!
 
i dont mind the young "chave" drivers with the mind melting exhaust systems and thousands worth of ice , its only when im driving and i see some of these *** bandits trying to tail me and get some sort of race going , that boils my urine.
i do just try to smile and think to myself i was young and foolish once ..............
live and let live , better them modding corsas than screwing houses ................

Tailgating gets my goat!!!

However Cheltenham being full of traffic lights means I can floor it up to 30, leave them for dead then sit back having made my point.

This doesn't work so well when driving a polo GT and catching a glimpse of what I thought was a chavved Alfa 147 only to have it go flying past me like I wasn't there. Wasn't chavved after all. It was a GTA...

Because people can't afford the insurance on better cars most of the time, so spend time and money on the looks of their car until they can get "proper" go.

I had a highly modified Clio. It was a 1.2 but was a sport replica, cost me the same amount again to modify it (about 4k) but I had it for 6 years and loved it. It had a lot of attention at shows and looked perfect in my eyes.

Now I have a completely standard S3 . . . age changes things, a lot.

You can take the chav out of the saxo, but when they get a bit of money they buy an C6 A6 then paint on white racing stripes (like a ford GT):faint: just like the one I spotted on the A1 just south of Newcastle.:puke:

theres loads of em up my road, even though its a nice area.. this is a good un, (call me childish if you want) im ready to pull out my drive and one of the little morons who screams about is coming down the road in a saxo, its one with the huge spoiler (ironing board) he's screeming alone and i wait till hes dangeously close then i boot it out my drive and im gone in a cloud of dust and left moron shitting his pants and locked up brakes hahahahahaha
 
i had a red xr3i.. ripped off the injectors stuck on some twin 40 carb's, scorpion exhaust, koni adjustable's, even sprayed parts of the dash in contrasting red lol. Add a kenwood head unit,and fill the boot with amps and speakers... i was there..... till some dirty little scouse fecker twoc'd it. all gotta start somewhere dude but i get what your saying, it comes down to attitude at the end of the day and these little feckers fly around with their burberry caps, gold chains and their tracky bottoms tucked into their rockport boots.like there on the ring making more noise the distance........:asskicking:
 
Can anyone explain what the need is to where a cap and a hood in the car whilst driving it???

Surely that impairs vision, if they were to look to the left or right quickly??

Or is it because they have a comedy cloud that follows them around and its actually raining on them in the car????

Haa haa funny. They think they look cool! They dont, hopefully its to help cover up their spots!!!

I dont mind the moddin bit, been there, done it, still doing it, most of us are in one way or another. I hate the aggressive attitude and disrespect they have. Ok, rev up behind me, I'll race off the lights with the best but to tear past the schools at break neck speed when little ones are coming out is totally not acceptable!

I also love music and probably have it far too loud so I dont even mind this but like others, the cap wearing and dangerous overtakes in under powered cars is pointless and stupid!
I've seen the end results after accidents and when non out of 4 walk away after the little corsa/saxo etc had hit a tree cos the driver is trying to show how big his tool is to his girl next to him and the ones in the car behind then...noooo.

I have also been there, have done some sort of mod's to pretty much every car i have own.
Nova 1.3 Sr, pretty standard and mint, apart from loud stereo
Saxo VTR, body kit, lowered, 17's, stereo, subs, silly exhaust.
Toyota Celica Tsport, Lowered, big wheels, big exhaust, stereo, subs.
Seat Leon Cupra R, standard apart from remap and struck brace.
Now the A4, pretty standard right now, but looking to fit coilovers, remap, updated lights with HIDS, new alloys.
So i must be a chave then????

I'm 28 and never had any points on my licence, spent more money on my cars over the years than i care to remember, but i loved every one of them. I think the rep of 'boy racers' and 'chavs' which is banded around comes from narrow minded people and media focusing on a small minority of idiots rather than car enthusiasts. My opinion of course, and everyone has there own.
