It does! I love black cars and love the mean blacked out look. I'd have gone the whole hog and done the lights and wheels too though!

Dont like the Intercooler/piping on display like that, just looks untidy, and its a bit "ricer". Either a 2 into 1 cooler would have made the pipework neater, or black out the cooler/pipework all together and refit the grilles.

:applaus: she looks very nice mate..like aragorn i think you should hide the intercooler/ pipe work....eg powdercoat matt black, then the grill back on:icon_thumright:...then she will be a real sleeper:blackrs4:

hope you dont mind but am saving a few pic for my screen slidshow:rockwoot:

You wouldn't want to powdercoat the intercooler hoses as it would act as an insulator. Paint them by all means, but not powdercoat!

Looks **** hot but the intake pipes just look to busy in the front and distracts you from the true beauty of the car.

Blue: Why would it matter if you insulate the hoses? Its just a hose at the end of the day, and wont really be doing much in the way of cooling anything.

The cooler itself would be best just painted for sure.

i wouldn't give a flying **** what any of these say, when you have a car like that and looking so good, who cares what they think looks better.
the car is tasty and to your liking, by the looks of it there ain't much more you could do to it.
its well look after and cared for.
i would love to see some pics of the inside.

plenty of people get there intercooler pipework powercoted.....

Matt black would probably be ok but id keep away from thick coats of paint or gloss finish, it insulates or won't catch incomming air so well.

Thanks for the comments guys

My older brother also tells me to paint the piping black, But I just really like the aggressive look in the front and how there is so much going on. Its my taste :arco:

nice.
what are you playing with for power? chipped? must be fairly interesting to be controlled by some stoptech's
any other mods on suspension and stuff?

Love it mate. Looks harder than Vin Diesel chewing wasps

LMFAO!!!!

That car really does look the dogs!!! personally, I love the piping round the front... acts as a feature IMO. The idea of a sleeper seems good too though... hmm... lol

but, yeh, gorgeous car mate! and sweet photography! Wish i could do it like that! =D

Post a list of performance mods: Stage2++

-H&R Coilovers
-Stoptech 355mm
-GIAC Chip
-UUC VM3 Exhaust
-UUC SSK
-SSAC Mid/Test Pipes
-SSAC Downpipes
-JHM FMIC
-AWE S-Flo

I am doing a RS6 Setup in a few months :hubbahubba:

Absolutely Gorgeous motor! your black b5 looks awesome love the centre caps also. i suppose you machine polish your car?:hubbahubba::hubbahubba::hubbahubba:

what is the Giac chip like? heard that it can be a harsh power delivery

what power are you at now then? 380-400?

well he listed the mods and didnt include turbos....

again 375 sounds way too high on the stock blowers, one of the reasons that these stupid american wheel power figures are so useless is that they're so much easier to fake.

Take a Standard S4, run it up with the tyres at 20psi, and run it up again with them at 50psi, and you'll get a huge difference in wheel power. But if you let the dyno do its coast down, the calculated flywheel figures will be the same, within normal experimental error.

Looking good mate, very mean!!!

375 on a Giac chip is possible, it is a viscous power delivery compared to other chip tunes in the US.

personally I think all dyno figures need to be taken with a pinch of salt. I like the ATW figure as it is exactly that. a lot less guessing

each to his own. don't put ,much stock in them anyway, bar stool **** measuring......

what does it do round the 'ring!? that is a measure!

See imo, the flywheel figures are more "accurate" because the coast down run helps remove some of the guess work. Yes i'm well aware of the fact that they're both still guesses, but the fact that two identical engines in identical cars can give completely different ATW readings simply because ones fitted with different tyres or the tyres have been over inflated makes using them for comparisons a bit pointless.

At least the flywheel figures attempt to give a common playing field for comparisons, and most decent RR's will be setup well enough that if you put a stock motor on there, you'd get a figure within a few % of the stock power output.

Dave Walker did a nice write up about it in an issue of PPC last year. I'll try and find it and post it up.

You may not put any stock in the figures, but at the end of the day it does give you a decent idea of the expected performance stats, and you can get an idea of how its going to drive.

A ring time is more down to the driver at the end of the day, Sabine Schmitt put a 135hp transit van round there in 10minutes, and i'm sure there are many more powerful cars driven round there every day that dont even come close to that time!

Nope, I'm another that would have to see a K03'd S4 do 375bhp to believe it.
