Hi...
Has anyone puchased a refit arm rest to a A4 2005?
Where did you get the arm rest kit from? How much did you pay??
I am trying to find the cheapest place out there....

Ta

try vagpart and ebay i think they are around £150 and £210 with leather

Always worth a call to the breakers, "4ringspares" or "AllAudi" to see if they have one to match your car and trim colour. Probably a long shot, but worth a go ....?

E bay have them on a regular basis. Some non VAG items get a poor write up so bidding for a genuine's best I reckon.
I've just bought an A4 S line TDi 170 Avant. Having come from a Golf GTi, I always wanted an armrest but now I have one it gets folded up out of the way when driving around town as it gets in the way of the handbrake. Ideal for extra storage for sunglasses etc though.

Does the armrest fit onto the existing centre console? Or does that have to be changed? And that price of £140 from Audi was that with leather?

Hi all,

sorry for jumping on an old thread, but does anyone have the pdf linked to in the above post? The website seems to be down now.

Thanks!

Yes I have a copy, it;s a 1.4mb PDF file. PM your email address and I'll fire it over to you.

hi,

i would also be interested in a copy of the pdf if that is possible. I'll send a pm with me email address in.

thanks

email recieved with thanks. I collect the arm rest and car on saturday.:icon_thumright:

I've recently bought an A4 and i asked the dealer what it would cost to fit an arm rest and they wanted £300 quid!!!!
Needless to say i gave it a miss.
Nik.

does any one know if you can buy just the compartment catch on the arm rest? mines broken !

Fitted my first A4 armrest today, arrived in cloth and I bought the leather upgrade to match the silver/rey RS4 trim.

Total £200 after discount

Fitting is easy, comes with the bracket (be careful with ebay armrests as you do need the support bracket) the nuts to lock it all into place and a cutting template.

Swapped the cloth trim to leather in a minute.

How did you get on with retro fitting the arm rest? did you use an official one or buy a cheaper one off ebay?

I part exchanged my golf (which had an armrest) for an audi a4 (which doesnt) and I miss it when driving long so would love to fit one
