thing is reptor you either are aiming to annoy or your really cannot see a top class driver wringing the neck of a car, nobody currently drives like him in the whole championship..... yes he spun off....it shows the limits he was willing to push to especially on the last lap almost 2 secs away from the championship leader..... Hamilton is probably one of the very few major tallents you will ever see in your lifetime..if you cant see that i would suggest laser treatment and psychological therapy to get over your hatred that is blinding you to what everyone else automatically sees......

oh and you forgot to mention the amount of fastest laps put in by Hamilton consistantly for virtually the whole race, you cant deny the tallent in this kid....if you ignore that then im sorry but you get the 'stupid' label in my book
 
i'm not a hamilton fan but I will agree that the boy is a racer, he never gave up chasing jenson which is either a good thing or bad depending on which way you look at it. i'll give him 10/10 for effort but 2/10 for thinking long term, ok the chances of him winning the championship are remote but lets say for some reason the brawns hit a spot of bad luck those 6 points could have come in real handy. I think thats what makes alonso a better driver, he may not be the fastest but he knows when to push and when not too.

If Alonso does go to ferrari then I can see him being world champion for a number of years.
 
I dont know you know.....i cant see the appeal in Alonso tbh, i saw Hamilton drive a terrible car at the start of the season but it looked like he was battlling ALL of the time to wring its neck...i dont get that with Alonso, I feel he drives to what the car can do and not push beyond which is surely what racings all about

Agreed but its not a question of when. He WILL be in the red car next year, then lewis will be a distant memory.

Let's face it, Heikki Kovalainen has been a poor driver this season, and I've never rated him anyways, so this could be a good thing.

With regards to Hamilton being 'World Champion', history will say he IS and has been World Champion in time, so get over it! :)
 
Hamilton is worthy after winning the races he has in the timescale hes been racing...your deluded not to see that fact.... lets look at how Alonso turned a tragic car around this season....from the worst to one of the best, Hamilton kicks ***....Alonso has remained in the middle of the field..i dare say give him a car he doesnt have to develop and he'll be fine though not to worry :)

lets also assess how we've seen Alonso totally hammering his pathetic Renault, all that obvious abuse he's given it.....hmmm yup, overtaking king

I'm also not deluded in thinking he can or will win another Championship, maybe if he was given the equipment to do it(from the beginning), then maybe.... just like Alonso has a crappy Renault, he can drive the nuts out of it, but he won't win any Championships with it....
I just appreciate Hamilton as a good driver, one who wants to win, and one who represents his country. And for the same reasons I'm gunning for Jenson also, he's a British driver, but I wouldn't be sad to see Rubens lift the title also, he's would be a deserved winner, and I doubt he would have a better chance than this year having played second fiddle to Schumi over the years at Ferrari.

I agree, i think Rubens has to do it this year as its kinda his last chance in my mind. He is getting too old and teams will no longer want someone like him its sad to say.
I saw eddie jordon on skynews, banging on about what flavio did. Is it me or is E.J a total douche-bag? i used to like him when he was a team owner but all he seems to do now is cut everyone down and "burn them at the stake" for making a error.

When i said he says "burn them at the stake" i was referring to his comment about saying sack kimi for eating an ice-cream when the race was virtually over when it rained hard. And saying they should scrap the Mclaren for being crap.

i meant EJ is a douche-bag in general for being too harsh. He later went on to apologize to martin whitmarsh for his stupid comments.

as i said!! i used to like him as a team owner. now he is just a jerk.

Getting back on topic. From what i saw in practise one and two. it should be a great qually. Provided you ignore the usual susspects with no fuel in just to get pole then fade away after 10 laps.

Hamilton did a wonderful job and was quite heavy on fuel for qualiifying!! Brilliant race, the best man won, well done to Button too, i think the safety car helped to a degree even if he didnt ackowledge it....still 15 points clear ;) ... was very annoyed at Alonso's interview asking whether he deserved last years win, his response was so crap its was almost unbeleivable.....he protested that he deserved it yet without the incident the pitstop wouldnt have dragged him up the field???? what an arrogant turnip..... i didnt hate Alonso, but he has lowered further in my estimation

good win Lewis!!
 
Hamilton is a spoiled little brat. I have met him and have 2 family memebers who work inside f1 so i know what he is like....A prat.

His little smirks he gives as if he is better than anyone else, He joined f1 and luckily had a car that could perform so looked better than he was, he is a little boy and thinks the sun shines out of his own ***.

If that upsets some people then so be it, ive met him and my family memebrs bump into him often at races so you will not change my mind about him. We are all entitled to our opinions and this is mine.

The pussy cat doll even dumped his *** but he begged her to be at the last race just so he saved face. Absolute pratttttttt:nyah:

Couldn't the "doll" thing lasting to be honest so no real surprise there, perhaps a different story had he retained his title, but thats me being presumptious.

All that crap aside, I can't wait to see Fernando behind the wheel of a Ferrari alongside Massa......

Also will be interesting to see which sponsors Renault find other than their own suppliers to livery up their cars.

Raikonnen's future seems in the balance - have McLaren confirmed his appointment yet?

Why is Button having problems with Brawn with regards to money and why would they let Rubens join another team, he's gotta be one of the best on the grid!!??
 
fair point Wayne and one perspective which many (if any) of us will not have.... my opinion of him though is of a driver.... the man doesnt come across on screen and so that's probably why i haven't integrated that opinion.... as a driver i think hes still one of the best out there based on his low and high times. Was last season all down to his car? I have to disagree with you there and I won't be budged on that as my opinion isn't clouded by knowing him an '****' (doesnt mean im not wrong though)

yup that was one hell of a race...would have gone to the last race if Hamilton hadn't passed RB.....good race from all of them and congrats to Button for an impressive season
