that looks the ****** ! just need to tint the rear light clusters

Wow, that looks amazing. How much is it dropped by?

****** hell that's nice............

That said I have two suggestions:

  1. Get rid of the amber in the front headlights
  2. I really think a 'black/chrome' plate would look awesome on the front
Here's one I used to :racer:

Now thats a mean looking car. Looks alot more aggressive...I like alot :)
Yeah those black and chrome plates would look the business. If ie ver get an avant hope it looks like yours!!! Looks well mean...Also you should lamin-x the front and back lights so its finish the stealth off nicely!!!
Check the blacked out S3 with the plates on in the link

Agree about the egg yolks, they have to go and will definately get the rears tinted.

Plate will stay as I like the contrast against the black.

That S3 is nice but not my cup of cha ;)

In terms of drop, i don't how much it's been dropped by...around 80mm over standard I'd guess.

Probably the best Avant Ive ever seen! Stunning...

Stunning mate well done almost the same as I would like mine to look but mine is Akoya Silver and I have that many speed bumps round my way I am not sure I could live with it that low !
How is the ride comfort with the coils compared to stock ?

Hi! Nice avant mate! love the mods!
how do you find the ride comfort compared with standard?

The number plates in black would also be illegal .

The ride is surprisingly good!

Certainly firmer than standard but i'm really pleased with the overall damping, it seems to cope with imperfection in the road very well and is a comfortable ride.

I'm surprised, but then I've always rated FK very highly, plus these are Koni shock rather than FK so much better than the Highsport variant.

Speed bumps aren't an issue if taken slow, so it won't work as a getaway car in London ;)

Bang Tiday mate! :hubbahubba: Not Chavy at all.

How easy is the splitter to fit?

Thinking of an avant now, Missis didnt want one.....Cha!! Looks the dogs danglies

Splitter is simple. Jack the car up, line up the splitter and drill some holes through the splitter into the bumper. Use self tappers, I did. Trick is getting the center lined up and working your way outwards.

whats the offset on the rs4 reps ? 8.5 / 9 ?

ET35 8 x 19

Yeah, me too.

Saloon just didn't cut it for me although some on here are gorgeous!

I made that mistake with my RS6, bought a saloon but it was never the real deal.

You had an RS6 :anbet::drool::hubbahubba::hubbahubba::hubbahubba::hubbahubba::hubbahubba::hubbahubba:

Did you need a mortgage for the petrol!
The Rs6 is the ultimate Audi :respekt:

Flipping heck the avant does look pretty spot on. Think the RS4 grille finishes it off nicely, adding to the aggressive yet still OEM look. So what's it like going from the RS6 to the 2.0TFSI?

Depressing !

RS6 was an outright bahnstorming crude as fek animal !

Loved every second of the RS ownership and the warranty let me sleep easy at night.

The great thing about it was you never once felt inferior to anything on the road. Bring on the the lambos, fezzas or porkers....the RS embarrassed a fair few on more than one occassion.

Modest looking family saloon humbling £100k exotica - perfect !!

The A4 is good value but just had to be modded to make me wanna jump in. Very happy with it and 30+mpg to boot ;)

Just out of curiosity... how much did you drop it by?

Love the car, looks stunning with the black grill and dark wheels!

Can you believe some people.........."sheep in wolfs clothing" DAMN RIGHT !!

Some people exist just to be negative - As i said before very tastefully done :hubbahubba:, not at all chavy.

Apart from the drop and rs4 grill (which looks tidy) , you could have spec'd that from new - from a dealer...!

The guys a mug mate

I'd bought my 18's from bey, from a guy who had a brand new A3 and wanted 19's - Would have got 19's but i have a 7 month old son and money for new tyres etc! :blahblah1:

Golfather,

Did you mention 30+ mpg? Has this A4 Avant quattro been remapped? I would be interested to now what bhp it went up to, how much it cost and the effect on your mpg. The rumour is you get about another 1/2 mpg, is that right?
Cheers,

Hi, yep it's been remapped to around 245-250bhp.

Cost varies but I have someone in the trade I know well. Expect to pay around £250 for a generic remap and £500 for a custom.

Forget rumours! If you drive looking for better mpg you'll probably get it. I don't and as such get between 24 when driven hard and around 32 when taking it mellow.

Thanks for that; yeah. they seem to sell remaps by quoting an increase in power, torque AND mpg.......

What level of tint have you used on it as thats exactly what I'm looking for on mine!
