Thread prefix system - Do we need it?

Thread prefix, do you think it should be kept, or removed?

It's about time we got a view of people's opinions on this now. Vote one way or the other, if you're not bothered either way, don't vote.

A bold move son, a bold move :respekt:
Not sure how long this thread will survive though.

It does seem a bit strange that S3 owners get preferential treatment compared to owners of any other model. I say get rid.

I was also surprised when I got the "S3 preferential treatment" answer to the question I asked.

I will vote accordingly.

More of it I say: no queuing in bars, better odds on the national lottery, our own lane of the motorway, etc etc...

But I don't think that we need our own thread prefix, I still read 'em all (except RS3 threads).

I think if you're going to separate out 8P from S3, you might as well just spec the entire car in the thread beginning (2.0TDI, 3.2, 1.8T, etc.) if it's an engine specific issue, and maybe even "6MT" or "DSG" for tranny issues. Of course at that point it's probably too complicated, and you're back to no flags ;-)

Just my neophyte opinion

As was said in the Pre-fix thread I would get back to you on the poll. I meant it.
