My new S.Blue S3!!

A mate and I fitted them - very easy as we had never done a quattro before so were not really sure what to expect but didn't take long and was like another other car we have done!

We are both engineers so both very intruiged haha

any special tools required other than spring compressors ? I fancy having a go at fitting them i makes fitting a set of springs much cheaper !!! I presume there is no need to pop a driveshaft out on the front and that there is enough room to get the strut out ?
 
We didnt even use springs clamps but we did take the drive shaft out at the front which is dead easy

You just have to take the calipers off and pads, undo the bolt holding the drive shaft, then pop it out. take the 3 bolts off from the top and release the drop links

No mate I went back to my dad's for the rest of the weekend. I will have to stay over for one of these events though.

Please let me know about the camera mate. I'm looking to get a DSLR camera soonish as my normal point-and-shoot doesn't cut the mustard anymore.
 
Also interested in camera spec mate. Was looking purchase either the Panasonic FZ28 / FZ38. Would love a DSLR, but a little out of price range I think.
 
Boydie car looks wkd mate! Very clean and tidy. I do like the back plate aswell, very cool. I do love the Sprint Blue colour

Im tempted by one but not sure on the 2.5k a year insurance being as young as i am :S

The club that I went with is called 6YC - 600 Yard Crew. Don't know why lol but the "founder" has good contacts with Edition 38 so we got a few privileges! So that is the pink sticker.

The white sticker is this:

Basically, we had a theme to follow for the trip and find a random sticker/picture online and put it on the car

I found this swine flu sticker - just a picture of a pig crying, saying "my bad" - it got quite a lot of attention!

Nate - can't put bose in without rewiring the whole thing so might down the line go aftermarket again but I have sold the majority of my ice so far :(

Latest installation :) got it locally for very good money - its a 2008 model. Have to sort the telephone module out though with vagcom - it works but doesnt yet show on the screen!

mmmm was not planning on selling it though - are you interested?

benskin - more or less, thats the interior done. I want the 2009 headlight switch with the chrome knob next but I think I will get some sort of media adaptor so I can have dvd's work and full ipod control!

Next on the list though I think is H&R ARB's

Yeah i was about to say your interior seems to have all the mods you need or would want lol. The 09 headlight switch chrome knobs be a nice finish. I think Nate selling some sort of media adaptor or he was selling one a few weeks ago. How you getting on with your S3 fuel wise?
 
Yeah, I was to buy it at edtion but i was not sure at the time if I was getting the rnse


fuelling it does not bother me any more, love it too much!

Got 400miles to a tank there coming home from northampton and that was with the remap and having a lot of fun in the tunnels coming through wales!!

Now though back home, going out and about into belfast etc... I have noticed a slight drop but I am now using more super and noticing the bills :(
