Hi all.
Other than the normal servicing, I am thinking about doing / having done the following as I have no record of when they were last done (2000 V-Reg, 106k miles):

Replace Haldex oil + filter,
Replace fuel filter,
Change brake fluid,
Check Cambelt.

Anyone suggest anything else?

yeh, would def go with water pump, if you are going to cange cambelt!!! cos if it goes (and it will go, mine just went on just under 100,000 miles- cost 350 cos had to have cambelt and tensioners replaced.) dont want to do same job twice!!lol

if you have no previous records on service done, just do not simply check the cambelt. Get it changed and as said above, get the water pump done at the same time.

I know the cambelt was done at about 75k hence the check as opposed to straight replacement, how often should they be replaced?
There was no mention of the water pump getting done at the same time.

Audi originally said the cambelt needed replacing every 120k but changed it to 60k or 5 years whichever comes first.

Mine was meant tobe done at some were between 60-70k cant remeber exactly and it wasnt so wouldnt just trust whats wrote on a piece of paper.
