Akoya Silver -- Modified?

I've had my Akoya Silver A3 6 months now, and as much I love the car.. seriously is an amazing car, I'm starting to regret my choice in colour.....

I just can't imagine an akoya silver A3 modified... I've seen MattAndrews akoya silver, which is very nice... but are there any others out there? His is the only one I've seen that is different from stock.

Someone make me fall in love with this colour again!

I sold the Akoya A3 as I now have an Ibis S3. I loved the akoya and still do, another member on the forum (evocos) now owns the car and he also loves the colour. N8KOW also has an akoya A3 and there are a few more on the forum. Get some mods done and you will be loving it again.

this is mine with S3 front end, the rear bumper & S-line defuser is being painted this week. The colour is more classy than sporty in my mind so I think it restricts any mods.

Another Akoya Silver'd A3 with S3 front, nice Khufu! I completley disagree about the mods, you can mod any car any colour, as you are aware, I'm happy with the way my Akoya A3 is looking

I like Dolphin Grey, quite rare as well, as much as I like Akoya, not gonna kid myself and not say its played out...

all i have done is vinyl wrap the grill, lamin-x splitter and black mirrors! hoping to do the single grill conversion soon too!

also looks good with wedding ribbon on. lol

Im like this with mine (lava grey) at the minute, gettin bored of it tbh, im waitin on a few things comin then hopefully ill be happy again!

Spend some money on mods then the interest will come back!

not yet mate, springs are still sat in my room. a mate of mine who is a mechanic said he will fit them for £60 but just had to pay out for insurance and now a holiday! hope to get them on end of september!

I was in 2 minds to start with between Akoya silver & Dolphin grey.
I went for the dolphin and sometimes i look at it and think hmmm it looks ok, But when the suns beaming and its just been washed it looks stunning!
Oddly enough it looks brilliant in dark cloudy weather as well?!

It always surprises me that people totally over look Avus Silver. I'm a bit biased because i own an Avus car but i searched everywhere for the right car in this colour.
It's pearlescent so looks different depending on the light. Not as purple as Akoya and a little darker so looks better with mods like the blackout grill etc.

IMO it's the best shade of silver/grey that Audi did but it's discontinued now. Nice compromise between Dolphin and Akoya.

Get 19s, definitely! Speak to the boys at Rimstyle for a quote too - I bought my CH's from them, and the service was fantastic. I can't rate them highly enough.

Poor quality and probably buckle alot easier than genuine ones. If your gonna spend lower than £600 on alloys i'd go for the BBS VZ they look good and i'd 100% go for them but i realyl want CK in 19"
