It's not mine. If i had the money it would be tho, its the kind of project i want. If someone wants to buy my car less its leather for 1800, then i will buy that and stick the leather in it, job done,lol

talking of muppets, before we baught the A4 i was looking in the local paper and came across a 2000 facelift 1.8T sport avant for £500. Phoned the guy up who said it had a cracked turbo manifold and needed some brake pipes for its MOT.

I said i'd be over the next day.

Some other, less stupid person, drove over immediately and picked it up that evening.

One of the lads that works for me used to have a B5 TQS in black with the plate V184 SUD... just two digits off this one... so me thinks this (could be) a genuine TQS, even if the interior is incorrect (?)

Saying that though... I've just checked the numberplate and Experian don't have a record of it... even though I've checked, double checked and triple checked it. Works fine on other cars I've checked though...

Found some details so car may be genuine, the fishy smell must be the air-con

you set up another account bid whatever you want and then withdraw the bid as soon as either someone else beats it or a few more bids drive the price up.

Shame, could've done with the wheels if someone was breaking it. My one's are the same just not so shiny and badly in need of refurbing.

The car interior looks right, i have seen early this year a 99 v reg. estate 1.8TQS in black with the same interior but it had the half lether interior but with the same fabric pattern(1 owner from new!) wich the owner specced with leather bolsters wear patches. It looks to me as a early facelifted model on wich the factory used older parts they had in stock: old sports interior, wheels, early instrument binacle(no digital clock !) but a facelifted body/interior combo ! I would check the chassys/VIN number though just to be shure ! The guy is funny when he mentions the bent antiroll bar is "easy" to bend back ! I wanna see him doing it ! The car will need a new antiroll bar, 4WD tracking done and i would make shure the front springs/shocks match !

I think the missing half leather is what people mean by it being the wrong interior.

All TQS' left the factory with half leather afaik.
