big grill

i am going to the big grill but just going get the parts bit by bit because i want to do the s-line its going cost abit tho

are these the parts i need
s-line front bumper
bonnet 05-08
s-line fogs
s-grill

will this fit stright on ??

your bits are correct but the ebay link is to an 09 facelift bumper so no dont buy that!

When looking on ebay at bumpers make sure there is a support built into the bumper behind the grille, the 09 ones dont have it.

Does your car already have fogs??

If so then I don't think you need to buy different ones.
Thought it was only if you fit an S3 bumper that you need different fogs??

Could be totally wrong though.

No you dont needs wings mate in less your planning on doing the 09 conversion. If your doing the S3 front end you need a bonnet and S3 grill/bumper

You will have to get a S3 grill aswell. The grill is about 10mm shorter so the A3 one will be too long.

Think there is some confusion about whether this is true or not.

Apparently if you get an early s-line bumper they use the same fog lights as the prefacelift.

3. The fog lights are different on the later single grill sline bumpers, some of the earlyier single frame bumper use the same fogs. You will also need to change the fogs plugs(there not expensive)

theres always confusion as early facelift s lines had the standard bumper which use the same fog/grilles as the early split grille models. 06 on s lines have the smoother bumper with different grilles. If you get an S3 bumper they use the same fogs as the 06 facelift s lines but different grilles.

it is very confusing i want it smooth looking so with out the bumper strips that are on mine at then mine

the new s-line and the s3 are both smooth so i will just have to make my mind up do you lot think it will look abit silly having a s3 bumper and an a3 ??

No its fine, just dont put the S3 badge on the grille!

If you are going smooth then i think you should put the facelift rear on too, would look odd smooth on the front and then a bump strip on the rear!

yeah the S3 bumper will look pretty good ben! guess you are following in my footsteps with the conversion. I am getting mine sprayed end of this week so you will have to call round mate, then i can see how your going with your conversion too.
