Hi all i am new to the site, i have been using the site for a very long time but just become a member when i purchased my s4 cabriolet, i have been driving audi convertibles for about 10 years previously owned Golf GTI 1997, then moved to audi 2.6e 1996 convertible which i had for about 2 years i then bought audi 2.8 1997 convertible which i had for 8 years. these audi convertible are the best. speed power and class.

thanks for all the comments, i dont plan to change anything as yet but u never know, i do fancy the rs4 steering wheels.
 
Never tire of seeing a nice red leather interior. Never had one myself though...

Just keep your eye out! I took my a while but got there in the end :arco:
I've now got the 4 Ally inlays for the doors in the garage so just looking out for the the rest now.
Also my B7 rear lights will be put on at the weekend :)

heard about the inlays.....ANOTHER bargain !!! lol , you really should do some work whilst your there you know mate ;)

b7's will look great, lea sent me a pic of his :rock:

might be in touch for that lower s4 grill at the weekend mate
 
i know what your saying mark but i left it for speedy, it would match his fake wood trim better LOL:undwech:

and the S4 doesn't have enough buttons from what I can see!... the R8 (leather S-line version?) like this is just about right :)

there's a button and clickable scroll wheel on each side....

Left: the wheel is to scroll through MP3/CD tracks or radio stations and clicked in to tune for radio stations and to ffwd the MP3/CD in regular mode, or you hit the "Mode" button and then the scroll wheel switches to the phone controls: then the wheel scrolls through your last dialed numbers on the DIS and you click the wheel in to start/stop calls.

Right: volume control for the "active" audio... so that's the music normally, but if satnav / SDS / telephone voice is active when you scroll the wheel, it will control those volumes separately and then fades back and forth between that and the music at those pre-set volumes, if you click the right wheel in, it will repeat the last sat-nav direction :)
The voice button next to that will activate the SDS voice controls, so you can say things like "Navigation, Navigate to home", "Radio, change stations to Radio 4 sport", "Telephone, call bossy person's mobile" (wife never has to hear that, I hope! :))... (you have to pre-set the names in italics byt finding that station / entry in the directory nad saying "Save station" / "save name tag").

Haven't you got "S-Line" badges on your car ? But am I right in saying that it isn't actually an S-Line ? :unsure:

Oh and is that a "Quattro" badge on the ally trim above the glovebox ? But am I right in saying again that it isn't actually a Quattro ? :unsure:

1wheel - nah mate - I got the pro's to do it (Gareth @ HazzyDayz).... he charges £850 all-in to take it from non-multifunction B6 to full multifunction B7 leather flat-bottomed... new, with a 2 year guarantee!

If you buy that stuff the dealers, it's nearly that much for the wheel plus airbag!!

quattro, your quiet right mate, sorry for the hijack, just a bit of friendly banter lol

lostbok, your spot on there mate, by the time you search the bay to get your stuff at the right price, then get the bits you didnt know about plus fitting, you dont save alot really.
you just get the chance to buy it as you go rather than one big layout.
