with cost in mind coilovers are to expensive you should get some eibach springs 40 50 mm drop and get your windows subtle tints , get some subtle tint lamin x for the lights ... then funds permitting a votex a3 kit ....

yeh there should be a link below, the post.

yeh they are the genuine article BBS LE-MANS 2PIECE SPLITT RIMs:), i got them a for the price of 18'' because i got messed about, at RIMSTYLE so i got discount because they sent me the wrong wheels twice, and then told me they dint have the wheels i wanted. and they told me they would give me a good discount for my trouble in th end i paid £2750.00 in the end.:faint: i was debaiting on painting the centers black, but i like the bright silver, i dint know they did a replica LM im not sure i want to know how much money i could have saved :sob:but, genuine is better is spose no matter how pricey. you have to have the right set of wheels to set the car off! i good base for more mods...

has anyone got a website they could recommend for the vortex kit????

what do you think to brushed ali wingmirrors and a blk chrome front grill???

 i want a euro look, but dont want it to look to OTT!

try ebay for votex bits they do pop up from tim

I'd probably sell my lungs to have them :ninja:

OEM is the way forward my man.

You don't wanna go votex man :asskicking:

Go black optics grille, but don't do chrome S3 mirrors, not on black imo

i want a euro look, but dont want it to look to OTT!

The euro look is ALSO the way forward, here are some examples:

I never used to like the euro look, but I LOVE it now, Mikey educated me  As long as it ain't rubbin, its cool man.

yeah i do there effin awesome the pics look cool man ...

I love the LM's but hate to say the 19's look slightly too big, having said that they will look much better when the ride height is right.

Also IMO putting lowering springs on are a waste of time, as they just shorten the life of your shocks, if you have LM money, you have coilover money.

Oh, also the best way is always drop first then wheels. :D

I have to agree, if your willing to spend gen LM cash at 2.5k then £700 on decent coilovers should be priority number one. Those wheels are wasted on your car until the arch sits a few mm from the tyres! ;)

you can get that drop with eibachs but for LMs if he does have the cash for coils id do the euro look slammed for me tires under the arch....like the pics below maybe not as low but not far off....the 19s are nice mate love em :icon_thumright:

I don't think so, they have a really healthy dish...

Well done, finally some1 talking sense!!

I think part of them looking to big IMO, will be down to the current ride height.

If it was me, I'd save for coilovers, and store the LMs safely away.

Unfortunately getting a killer stance on killer wheels don't come cheap. :(

Would like to say the car is looking good though! just a case of sorting your priorities. :beerchug:

He could go for weitec GT coilovers, made by KW and will achieve excellent drop all round. Thats what Mikey's done and his stance is bang on.

Just lowering it will transform it,genuine lm's :hubbahubba:

Genuine is always the way to go if you can afford it,as Nathan said if you ever sell i am your man.

Forget about practicality, if you aint rubbin you aint dubbin :salute:

haha im trying to find a votex front lip aswell. impossible!!!!

think they are 43 offset not 100% sure on that, they do sit i little proud so i may have the arches done:shrug:, i should have gone for stretched tyres, they are 35s but they got a shed loead of tread bit late now tho, i think your right coil overs are the way, KYB/EIBACHS....mabey? has anyone got any recomendations on shocks?

i will get some pictures of the interior at the weekend, and post some up,

what do you guy think to the chrome tailpipe trims????? i am thinking about getting a set to get rid of the matt black pipes???

cheers for all you views, guys any other ideas post em up.:beerchug:

how do i get the other piture of the back of my car on to this post i only managed to get the link, to come up.

You need to copy the direct link from photobucket into the little picture with a montain and sun or some thing, its a yellow box. Its right next quote tag and insert email link. Then box should pop up paste it in there...
Car looks good...Defo get some coilovers will change the car stance and look the business. Love the LM :) Centre in black would finish the alloys nicely...

The Eibach Pro Street kit is also good, and also made by KW.

I have a set sat in the shed, really should get them put on.

or you could sell them to me:jump:

think they are 43 offset not 100% sure on that

With the right drop then, you can achieve, really good stance.

they do sit i little proud so i may have the arches done:shrug:

Nothing you can do but take the rear liner out, I'll let you know how I get on, as I'm slamming my car.

i should have gone for stretched tyres, they are 35s but they got a shed loead of tread bit late now tho

Its the width that'll make the sidewall thinner. By putting a narrower tyre on a wider wheel i.e. a 215/35/19 on a 8.5 rather than a 235/35/19 on a 8.5

i think your right coil overs are the way, KYB/EIBACHS....mabey? has anyone got any recomendations on shocks?

Weitec Hicon GTs if you want decent for £500 ish quid, or push the boat out with KW V2s, you don't need shocks as the coilover is the whole unit.

Leave the chrome!! Hope all this helps

are you slamming yours to death then nate euro style ...it will look good cant wait to see the pics

I'm going lowest all round as it looks like it's on stilts with the 19"s on. I will achieve perfect stance. It's getting sorted on sunday and then rims on and then detail, I will take some pics as well. I can't wait either.

Yes I am going euro, hence the red centres Blazin...:)

Looking forward to seeing the car lowered! Will finish it nicely with those alloys! Thought about tints? I think black grill would look nice. What engine in the car?

cheers for that boydie im not sure i will be quite up to that standard your car

You have genuine LMs, all you need is the right tyres and drop and you've nailed it lad.

i love the black grill on your A3 but as mine is MICA BLACK not to sure if it would suite,

Possibly...:sly:

:)

Thought about tints?

A nice light smoke would look nice

My A3 was bought by my parents and still has the kit on - has standard suspension and 17" wheels on now and still looks nice enough!

I would recommend doing your grill - its only vinyl at the end of the day and can be easily taken off it you do not like it and will not chip like paint!

yep that is very true, it will be a visit to the dredded halfords tomorrow it is light smoke tint film for the grill isnt it? it is it tricky to do? i spoke to my mate who, works at the local sign writers and he can tint for £100 that is guna have to be next after the shocks obviously.:yum::kissmyrings:

yeh, am thinking bout tinting the windows, cool that is good my friend is a sign wrighter, does it have to be any particlar type?:jump:
