are a bunch of useless, ignorant, rude, backward, clunge heads.

I ordered some RS4 reps on Wednesday (crazy and unique i know). Got them today and they're black with diamond cut spokes. NOT the nice standard looking ones on the picture on the website. Great. Spent Friday morning off waiting eagerly at my window like a dog for what? Imagine my diss-chuffedness when i opened the first one!

To top it off, I ring them straight up, go through the options for some F*****G C**T of a B***H W***E to tell me I have to write a mother F*****G email to complain!!!! I mean WHAT THE F**K??? You can't even speak to any of the muppets to get it sorted!!!!

AND when I ordered them, the guy that I spoke to showed as much enthusiasm as a 3 toed sloth that's just eaten a Double Whopper and was less helpful than a rock. A very old rock that hasn't moved for centuries.

W***ERS.
 
I presume you didnt order the black and silver ones then?. have you checked any paperwork etc?

Surely an email explaining the problem and the cost to cover the sending back of the wheels is all it takes to sort it out?.
 
I would much rather speak to someone the old fasioned way! There was no paper work sent with the wheels unfortunately :(

Can't believe that when you are talking to a real person to sort something out, that they require a written email to do anything about it!?

Your protected by the Consumer Protection Act (Distance Selling) which means after receiving the goods you have 7 days (might be fourteen but dont rely on my word for that) to cancel your contract with Rochford Tyres, chances are they want you to email them so they have a written record of this. If they mess you about and you paid via Credit Card then inform them and they will sort it out, if it was a debit card then its a bit more complicated....hope this helps.
 
7 days to return & if was correct order & wanted to return them because you dont like then they can charge a fee, but if returned because faulty or wrong they should collect or pay your postage.

Unlike FECKING EBAY TWATSSSSSSS, send you wrong things you have to return at your cost, what a FECKING JOKEEEE ebay & paypal are.

I've dealt wth Rochford a few times ages back though without issues.

I look at EliteDirect these days, done me good on number of sets.

Also dont involve the Whopper in this, thats sacred & you know it, lol
 
OK i'll leave the Whopper out (that sounds wrong lol)!

Cheers for the advice guys, i paid by debit card so it could get interesting then! I've double checked and i did order the right item, they've just sent me the wrong ****** ones. Nothing went right last week and that was just the icing on the cake. They've not replied to my email yet but it was Friday. I just find it obsurd that you can't just speak to someone to get it sorted!
 
Thankyou Rochford Tyres for replacing the wrong wheels. I rang through on the sales line to speak to someone to get it sorted. I guess they're just short staffed at the mo which I can appreciate. The car feels like a tractor now! lol
 
I've just purchased RS4 reps from Wheel-Base and whilst initial service was promising (apart from trying to sell me ET35's which would have rubbed badly), at least I got the right wheels.

Fitted them and the ride was terrible. Realised they hadn't sent me the spacer spiggots to bond the aftermarket rim to the hub.......

Any apology....like feck was there.

And I asked for a next day delivery, and they sent for Monday delivery (despite paying £25 for postage). Half of the wheel weights had fallen off in the box, so one I can roll I have to go and get them weighted again at a cost to me :-(

Wheel companies should be experts in what they do. This is the 3rd set of alloys I've had from various wheel companies and they have ALL failed me in some way (tyre directions on wrong / wrong tyre profile fitted + issues above).

To be frank they are generally $h1t, but I'm not travelling to the other end of the country for them to fit them.

I take my thank you back, 2 of the tyres have been fit with the tread going the wrong way. So it now feels like i'm permanently going over speed restriction bumps. I now have to go to a garage to get them fit correctly and balanced.

Anyone reading this please beware as they clearly haven't a clue.

is it all wheels places then that have weird suicidle guys working for them i went to wheel base and dave was so dead he had no life left in him and looked like this i asked what size tires they did and he said WHERE'S THE CAT i need ORION'S BELT i was like :wtf: yeah ..weird experience ...lol

I also got some centre caps off ebay from someone called 'firefly' or something like that. Ordered them over a week ago (including payment), only received them today (they were supposed to be sent Royal Fail recorded) and they don't fit properly and have just been wrapped up again in a jiffy that someone has used to send them back to him! Advertised as 'New'. New my F***ING ****, they have scratches all over them and have been taken out the plastic wrapping. F***ing vaginer decliner. I just want to pimp my ride ***
 
o cool you in itali then how is it , you lucky fecker , were getting away in sept but i already been vegas like 2 month ago so ive not done bad i guess , i just found out my misses may lose her job if so buy buy audi im gutted ...

it wasnt random i swear the guy at wheelbase is like that lol freeks me out .... but yeah one of my favorate dudes outa any film classic.....

When you get the tyres put back on I suggest you have the wheels re-balanced.

I had my re-balanced purely out of a lack of trust that it would have been done properly..... and guess what.... I was right.

I'm calling the Guinness Book of Records today as I reckon my front offside wheel has the most wheel weight in the world EVER on it.

You think I'm joking eh???!

Warren, you want to have Phil (over there) to have a look at that mate. He was saying something on a previous thread about the maximum amount of weights recommended on one wheel.

Don't worry, i've already booked my car into a mates garage on Sat morning to have the 2 tyres corrected and all 4 balanced for the princeley sum of a few beers! :)

Is that the bloke from 'Criminal Intent' who plays the detective who's autistic or something similar? I hate crime shows in general but I can't stop watching criminal intent*, the guy is a great actor and a superb character.
