this is getting silly now, some people are just *******, my mate had his s3 parked in front of his house 8 weeks ago and some bast3rds came onto his drive and yanked his mirrors off,

so he took some action got it booked in at listers audi repair centre

and in the mean time got some camera's put up, at the front of his house, some bast3rds came along last night and stole them again,

if anyone knows anything about it or is offered s3 door mirrors in coventry please let me know.

Keep your eye on ebay... And beat the theives hard when you find them.
 
Any chance of wring them to the alarm? I know alot of the porsche guys do that as there teardrop style ones go walkies.

maybe UV mark the back of the covers - I know it won't stop some fcuker stealing 'em but at least gives you a chance to identify them if they're for sale somewhere. at least, that's what I'd do...
 
wire the mirrors up to the main's......... burn the shyte's that's what id like to do

Melt the Reg into the bottom of them..... Kinda like when people used to do their windows. I doubt you'll be able to see it when they are on the car but it may but an potential buyers off....
 
you can do many things but nothing is really gona stop it happening again and theres always some shyte that will buy theses mirror's on the street or on ebay.... tbh thats why ive never bought a set ...it will happen again its a good raise every couple of month pop to his house for his mirrors its defo kids looking for weed money

look's like he's just in one of them area's , i live in one of the ruffest parts of manchester and even though alot of people know me , my last a3 was stolen along with property from the house cause they burgled us whilst i was in bed with the family ...

but anyway i went out got a better car not to be beaten and alarmed up the house ,doors and windows so anyone come's in this time they will wish they hadnt i can promice that they wont walk for a very long time....

il probably be arrested and all that but to me its worth it once word goes round there tendons were popped not many people would try it again , these things make me so angry .....

but im afraid times are getting worse and there gona get much worse yet , britain's slump is gona last for a while so id advise to alarm everything up and weopon up the house to death and bed in :icon_thumright: ....
 
t**ts, all they do is steal other peoples property for 'quick cash' because there so god damn lazy to find a job to earn real honest money.

This topic keeps coming round and round! Its weird though because today i spotted a black S3 following me and it had black mirrors! It was in Telford, anyone off here? It was defo an S3, It had the buckets 58 plate facelift.
 
I'm tempted to get my mirrors 'wrapped' until this phenomena has passed.

I live in a world where if a policeman swears at a man with a knife he gets suspended from duty. I wonder what goes on in our public servants heads - probably too busy claiming expenses without receipts.

What area in Coventry is this ?

I know that the Coventry dealer now keeps all cars with Ally mirrors either in the showroom or in the garage bay at night as they have had **** loads go missing over the last 7 months!
 
I had mine done and they weren't even chrome!

also Warren I would like to add that this goverment are keeping a 79 year old man with failing health in prison as well...strange country.

I take it your on about Biggs ? Ok he's ill but he should stay in prison as he took part in a serious crime. Just because your ill doesn't mean you can get out of serving time! He's not even sorry for what he did and at the end of that day he enjoyed the life of riley back in his days.

Tough **** that what I say :rulez: if he doesn't like it he shouldn't have done it. Plus it's the tax payer that's looking after him anyway. Should use some of that money he nicked as it's never all been recovered.

he may be 79 but if you cant do the time dont do the crime! i know where your coming rom though. just rig grenades in the mirrors so if they are ripper of the pin is pulled,it will be the last mirrors they steal.

I wouldn't say MY anger as I was only responding to your post previously. I was just pointing out that just because he's ill doesn't mean he should be let out or let off!

As for the Bulger's killers I appreciate what your saying but unfortunaley the system is too soft and far too soft on minors!

longford/aldermansgreen, i think he is going to get some body coloured door mirrors now and just keep a chrome set untill he sells the car.
 
i hate the bulger killers and ian huntley they will stay with me for the rest of my life and if i ever laid eyes on them id do things to them that arnt invented ...lol...baste&*ds

When it comes to mirrors they will have them no matter what we do to try and prevent it. Was thinking it would be good to have them on a big chain like mercedes used to have on their bonnet badges. The little feckers would probably trash the car just cause they couldn't get them off though. As for this **** taking nanny government we have...Guy Fawkes had the right idea LOL. The latest travesty being the bloke who came out his house to stop a gang kicking the **** out his step son , got attacked himself, stabbed one with a letter opener and proceeded to get arrested when the Police arrived. The day this country changes its laws to protect people in their homes won't be a day too soon. As far as I am concerned if anyone comes onto my property without my permission or tries to damage/steal anything I should be quite within my right to do some damage of my own.
 
I totally agree with all this and I know I'd probably get arrested but I sleep with a Hammer under my bed, come into my house and I will get them out by any means required, I hate thieving scum.
