Audis in the Park! Sunday 9th August 2009

what is the deal with the ASN space? do you have a dedicated spot with a tent and stuff or are you all meeting up in the car park?

can you camp from the Saturday night?
might be up for this but 350 miles is a bit far to try and get there the morning of the Sunday even for me.
 
Ill be there, not sure if the misses is coming yet introducing her to camping this evening so shall see how that goes lol (wish me luck!)

Ed, camping is available prebooked for £12 a night. We are also staying over the Sat night. We have a dedicated spot with a display layed out so when you get there you will be directed as to where and how. We are going to have a free BBQ for ASN members there, if you want to help out with a bag of baps/burgers/sausages then it will all help
 
I will be the chef on the day and the closer it gets the more excited I am. This event could really put ASN on the map as a good forum and hopfuly bring us together as more of a "club" We look forward to seeing you all there:thumbsup:
 
I'm really looking forward to this :)

I can also bring a back up BBQ if you want, its only small though but it might help. In fact I'll lob it in the car anyway just in case.

stace! hows your cooking skills like lol ill be safe and bring rolls and RED meat:) looking forward to it big time now, was a week away from getting the coilys but looks like i have an EGT sensor gone though so that is taking priorority for now.
 
Do you guys know what other audi forums sites are gonna be there?

Well Im a chef so I think your all safe :) Ive worked in alot of resturants and never had any complaints yet ;)

I am not good at this DTP stuff, however i thought i would give it a go as i would like everyone attending to sport one, and hopefully be using the same template. So i here it is, any suggestions welcome.

Zipped file with all of the required files included (Winzip or similar req'd)

To install the fonts just stick them in your windows/fonts folder using windows explorer or similar. The Doc was done using office 2003 to maintain as much compatibility as possible.

EDIT
The aim of this is for each of you to replace the bit that says your forum name here with your username, and the same with the First name bit.

Then alongside the age,colour and colour code bit put the details applicable to your car. Briefly list any mods, and then stick the best pic you have in the box provided ( if you have one)

Am I too late? Not sure if this has been asked but will lowered cars have any problems entering the park?
 
My A4 is wound RIGHT DOWN on coilies and i'll get in!...even been given permission to go on the grass to go round any speedbumps by Wicksteed management!

Great :) lol, imagine the chaos. I'll most likely be there mate with my other half - need to check tent one evening (haven't used it for years) but if that's fine, I'll be there.

Guys, I was hoping that I'd be able to get booked into the bodyshop to get my door resprayed before this but they're fully booked until 17th, so looks like I'm gonna turn up with a huge chip out of my drivers door.... :(

Scott dont worry mate, sh!t happens. If it was painted in Dulux gloss with a roller, as long as you are a fan of the marque you are more than welcome

I still need to check my tent but the weather doesn't look promising over the next few days to allow me to do that anytime soon. And I'm too scared to put it up inside, dunno what might be hiding in there...
 
Also had an idea that it may be worthwhile posting a thread for everyone to put up their picture and a short introduction/some details about themselves ahead of the event? What dya think? Break the ice a little...:)
 
Myself and Bill may well be turning up, but we are shooting in the morning and won't get there until 1.00 ish. Would that be a problem?
We will either be in his A6 or mine as well.
