The Blue Arrow (part 1)...

Well this is my Blue Arrow so far folks before my New kit & a couple of additions goes on next week.
As most of you know im into changing my Audi's to a more Unique look - Theres been loads of hold ups but the Votex is coming off next week thank the lord because I dont like it at all, in fact I hate it even more now ive looked through the pics.

The Exhaust goes back in after its cooled down - thats the only thing that bugs me with Milltek.

Another thing I didnt notice till these pics is the amount of Pearl in my paint, I love it and before anyone asks, its Kingfisher/Pelican Blue (but dont know which shade) and I havnt seen another yet so no cloners....

All comments welcome Positive or negative but remember, Im not into the 'OEM' look, Im into the Ziner Scene!...and as you'll see below Im 100% a Picture whore Haha!!!!

Soon as the Kit & other additions have been completed - Part 2 to follow!

OK... About ****** TIME !!

The colour is gorgeous. Really.
The Milltek is unfortunately a necessary evil. You need the engine to breathe...
The wheels (IMO) would look better is a more matt finish rather than gloss, but still look great. They 18 or 19" ? And what tyres are they?
Not overly keen on the rear boot spoiler TBH. Don't actually think you can get better than the OEM bootlip spoiler.

S4 Door Blades?
Matching mesh to the bonnet grill?
Black or Carbon Door Mirrors, would go nicely with the black wheels/roof/window surrounds.
BIG MOTHER BRAKES + matching blue calipers would be nice, would see them nicely through the black wheels.

How are the wheels with brake dust?

Very nice though (apart from the spoiler!)

Im going to try and make Audi's in the Park but not sure due to me might be working away - really do want to make it though and im going to try!

The Front bumper and Grill are being replaced next week & the Rear bumper is being changed also. I really dont like the Votex at all. It just looks too false for me so ill be happy when its off (...and it'll be for sale)

Stoaksey - Yeah I didnt like the spoiler at first but its grown on me, if it wasnt for the Holes it'll leave then I would have had a Lip spoiler by now but like I say its grown on me now so that'll be staying.
Blades will be on next week and I was tempted to do the Mirrors black like on my red one but im not too sure now...
Im still in the process of some Big brakes - Hopefully very soon.B6 S4's will do me & I know where ther is an S4 Breaking so im on the blower first thing monday morning.
The wheels were originally on as Temp but they've also grown on me too (trying to keep the spending down)
They are 19's mate with Avon zz3 at the rear and some BCT's at the front which are really good for a Budget tyre, never heard of them before though.235/35.
As for Brake Dust, it does my frigging head in.You would have thought Black hides the dirt but not the dust, they do look Matt after a week or so!

Ryan - Im hoping my list will be completed after the changes Ive mentioned above....but it never really does does it.

Lostbok - I originally wanted Gunmetal colour but went for the gloss in the end when I thought they were a temp.
I reckon ill end up changing the Wheels later on though but will be an OEM wheel

Im reaaaallllly tempted to have a Full hit like I did on the red one because the odd chip always bugs me and I have one right on the edge of the bonnet, it hits me everytime I walk out my doorbut my mates think I have OCD.lol

Haha, I wish I could justify it but what with the trades taking a slamming I dont think I dare splash out soooo much cash but im looking into the same K04 that doc has just done and ill use my next Tax rebate to justify it to the Mrs.

But - am probably banghead gonna get the MTM Stage 1 remap done when I pop down to see QST in a few weeks time. Am also seriously thinking about a custom full exhaust system swap too = £780+VAT fitted. Should realise about 450bhp and 470ft lbs... Can alway swap the original exhaust back and sell it if I need to. Am probably gonna keep the OEM wheels and paint em anthracite (or maybe painted R8 wheels???)

Those MTM wheels are awesome, would look great dark coloured on your silver RS :thumbsup: But then your RS4 wheels sprayed would look virtually as good, as MTM wheels are silly money IIRC.

Is the RS4 grille trime the same as a normal one? If so there's lots of B5 grilles on ebay you could buy and just spray the rime up

James - The grill I got is original and is the match for my front bumper im putting on but Im not too sure about it yet, going to have a look once bumper is on then take it from there but the rings will be the only thing kept untouched I reckon. My window trims came black already luckily!

Stoaksey - You have to do the Anthracite theme on your, it'll look perfect especially with them MTM wheels - I love them but as james says they are ****** expensive. I liked Docs theme on his B5, that was very Nice. I dont mind a Hijack,ha - the only damage its doing is its tempting me more to flog mine and buy an RS4.Id love one . Im into Flooring mate, work for several contractors in the construction aswell for Newbuilds etc - I hate Site work though, all this PPE in this heat is sooooo uncomfortable!

1Wheel - lol yeah I know, the mud flaps will be off when the bumpers are changed defo and I did think about bringing my Chrome plate surrounds back to life.....

Doubt I'll change to the MTM wheels, like you say too expensive. Probably just paint up the OEM 9-spokes to keep costs down...

Just realised the Chip n Spin RR day might be a more affordable way of getting mapped, with about the same results !

Marc1 - Cheers mate.Interior needs a good clean, its been a little neglected lately Wonder why...but will be having a good clean same time i fit the Bumpers some time next week. The Votex is coming off for defo as I have a nice front end to compliment it and the rear bumper to go with it also.

As for Spec :
25% Tint, Oct tuning Remap, Forge Diverter valve,Forge turbo intake pipe,N75J Valve,Piper Panel Filter,RS4 ARB,Full Milltek 100mm tips Inc Milltek Sports CAT,Joey Mod Headlamps/6k Hids...

Spec to come :
Front/Rear Bumpers & Grill
K04 with Injectors, MAF & remap to match (somewhere in the lines with Doc's)
FMIC (which ive got but havnt fitted yet...)
S4 B5/B6 Brakes (also Upgrading the Rears to bigger discs which ive looked into)
10-15mm Spacers to the rear once Bumper is on


Think thats about it...for now!!

The look lovely, not a lover of the rear spoiler but if you like it then that’s all that counts.

Wheel look great I would have tried to get a polished lip put on to break them up but other wise spot on.

I would have also done the mirrors black or got some Carbon mirror cover which is quite cheap.

You might want to think about some RS4 callipers and discs which are quite cheap and pads can be got for around £25 a set.

In all I like the mean look and I love the colour.

Doc - Yeah Im in the Process of getting some brakes, A member off here has some B5 S4, I also know a breaker with the B6 S4 and Stoaksey suggested the B7 RS4's - Think he's trying to make me fall behind with my Mortgage.lol.

Im toying with the Mirrors - going to see what they look like with the blades on first then take it from there. The spoiler has grown on me now, its different!!

Filthy - haha You still got them skirts then! I might get back to you on that.going to see if the Votex skirts will pull off with the Otty!

Ive got another trick up my sleeve but im a little Para to attempt it. All will be revealed!!

Really nice! the colour looks mint in the sun shows the sparkles well. one thing which looks odd to me is your front grill, i think the reason behind that is because its matt black and all your other components seem to be gloss black like the wheels and the roof and also those little bits on the mirrors. in my opinion if the grill was sprayed gloss black it would blend in more. but all and all i really like it : )

Have you thought about spraying the chrome boot trim and the rear badge black?

Chrome indicator bulbs are a must aswell to finnish the "joey mod" off.

I think the blades will make a hell of a difference to the look, as long as their not colour coded.

Yeah the Colour is an Awkward one for colour match, we're working on the match today with the new front and rear bumper but is looking like we need to flick the front and rear wings in for best match. The Pearl is the greener shade and I seen it on the road for the first time yesterday whilst my cousin blasted it up the road and back - Now I know exactly what it looks like in the Sun, looks amazing on the move.

I have thought about the trim on the new bumper too but going to see what its like after a quick photoshop. Ive been meaning to get the Chrome indicator bulbs - Any links anyone???

I test tried the Blades yesterday but want to try them with the new additions on aswell as Im not 100% sure they do actually look ok ...took me ages to get the blades and now im not sure!ha

The badges im going to toy with as im not sure yet if its going to totally De-badged - another tester once the bits are fitted.
