TTS Air vents

Hello all


just saw Boydie's new S3 and liked the look off the TTS Air vents will these fit in a 2006 sport a3? and if so isit as simple of using a flat s/driver and pushing the old ones and slipping the new one in?


any one have the part number and a price?:sos:

Thanks mate - they will fit any A3 from 2004 on!

I may consider selling my S3 ones if you are interested?

All you have to do is turn the vent open at 0 degrees then turn it clockwise 45 degrees and you will feel a small click - then you just pry the vent out - you can use a flat head screw driver and nudge each side out easy enough!

anyone got any pics to show the difference between standard ones, S3 ones and TT-S ones

I may be interested in this mod in the future and would be interested to know the prices, etc

So, how much are they? I have never liked the S3 air vents.
 
Thats a new dial for me, TT has different one to the S3, ********, lol, goes to check etka.......................... & yes it is a bitch of a job to do properly

The TT vents are great man, takes the bling away from the eyesite as it just got to much huh AJ.

When removing take your time & patients as there's the mechanisms externally so careful not to pull out to harshly or you'll snap some bits & always check the mechanisms before putting back to make sure centered on the toothed wheels, you'll see what I mean.

Am i right in thinking all mk2 TT's have these vents? They are not specific to the TT-S are they??

I go a quote on them ages ago, £68 each!!!!
 
I've always known all the mk2's to have them & yeah they're not cheap, but depends who you know really, lol.
 
If they are just "Satin Chromed" plastic then i cant think they cost more than a couple of quid to make so a typical Audi price would be about £70 each i would think..
 
They're aluminium, not plastic crap.
 
My sincere apologies to Audi if they are Ally :)

Good thing is if they are then i might be able to make my own ! depends what is going on behind them....Will have to ping one out.

Yeah, good luck mate as saves me figuring out how they come of for a mod of mine, lol, the TT ones are on there solid.

Anyone got a fecked vent they wanna throw my way for testing purposes please.
 
urrrggghhh man they're horrible, proper buckets on the order list, just awaiting them to come up.

Part numbers for the Audi S3 Air Vent would be great if anyone can supply them?
 
Why oh why would you want S3 vents after seeing those beautiful TT ones, its no contest, the TT ones blend in with the dash so much better, need to find my TT vent posts with images..............
 
Just waiting for my Black Edition to arrive and noticed in the Audi Price and Spec guide for the A3,it shows S3 vents on the black edition... I quite like the look of the S3 vents and after seeing this thread thought about maybe fitting new ones but please tell me I've just saved some cash :laugh:

The black edition does have S3 vents - I think I prefer them (on the pics) to the TTS vents but I will take a look at a TT next time I'm passing Audi. Don't think I'd spend anymore than a fiver on them though tbh. Each to their own I guess... :)

Had it from new, didn't spec it as an option...

In the brochure it says Sport models have aluminium silver inlays but I guess that just refers to the doors?

All the facelifts have them too. My Bosses does thats for sure and his doesnt look anything special, think its an SE
 
For what its worth, my s-line cabriolet has them too:)

I do like the TT ones though. Did anyone get a price for 4?
 
Says man who wants red centered wheels, lol, taste is not a strong point huh sheepy herder, lol

I am gonna start a petition for no painting of center of wheels to red, just for you Nate, petition Gordon Brown as he does feck all else anyway, lmfao
