Hello everyone, I have kinda neglected the forum in all this sun weve had recently, I do apologise.

Im back now tho and I need a bit of help.

Im trying to fit 18" porsche twists to my car.

I know i need adaptors to make them fit (5x130 - 5x100)

But which ones?

Theres a choice of 20mm - 25mm - 30mm - 35mm ?
Im assuming they act as spacers too. But i dont know which ones to get :/.

Can anyone help me please?
Are they differnt for the front as they are for the back?

One more question.

Will my 225/40/18 tyres fit these wheels? they are 7.5j at front and 9.5 at the back i believe.

What tyres are recommended for wheels that size?

Thanks in advance. Ryan

You need to know what offset (et) the porsche wheels are to figure out what adaptors you could use to bring within useable limits to fit your A3.

I have been told this

"two rears of size 10J X 18 ET65 and two fronts of size 7.5J X 18 ET50"

What adaptors does that mean id need?

20mm for rear and 5mm for front?

20mm adaptors on the front would make them wheels the equivelant of et30 which should be fine on your a3, as for the rears think your gonna struggle to get 10" wide wheels to fit on an A3 without some bodywork mods mate. I would of thought you would need something in the order of a 40 to 45mm adaptor to bring those wheels to a final et of et25 to et20 and then probably some arch work too. You'll be better off going for some replica's mate if you really want that wheel style.

I cant find replicas anywhere :/

However I have seen some 9.5 wide rear wheels.

What size adaptors on the rear would that be?

JoJo has done this mod to his car.

Im pretty sure it can be done without too much work.

whats my et on my car? i thought it was et45?

Jojo has replicas mate, not genuine porsche, same size front and rear wheels, not really wide rears like your looking at (not to mention that jojo has an S3 which has wider arches). Not sure what your car has as standard mate normally 8x18" wheels on an A3 will have around et35. Remember you will have to have alot lower et to fit such wide wheels to the rear.

As for the 9.5" rears what adaptors needed would again depend on there offset.

Just replied to your PM Ryan before I saw this, you will nedd 4 front wheels for your A3 if you want the genuine article, wider rears are going to be tight, and try and aim for ET35 front and rear for best clearance.

That's what I was going to suggest!! LOL

Not sure how the car would handle with 10" rears on anyway?!
