Yes mate, all the different clubs have their own designated areas. Anyone have any ideas specificly they want to do or see at this event

Wouldn't mind knowin if my cars got a pulse, is anyone doin rounds wi VAGCOM ont stand?

Could do wi seein best way ta fit a clutch kit on a B5 1.8n/a, I'll supply car n parts

There will be loads of people with VAGCOM myself and Byzan included. Just ask someone As for the clutch fitting although it would be fun to have it in the centre of the stand with all the ASN crew working on it, I dont think that will happen!! If you talk to Rob/Factionone he will point you in the correct direction of people who can help/give advise on this

There WAS a limit......but due to the expected numbers I had to negotiate for more event field!....so NO THERE IS NO LIMIT NOW!

Excellent. Chap I know has one of the handheld multiport readers, we couldn't get it to interface with car. Be interested to know if the cars com-port is faulty??

Bummer about the clutch I'd bought a packet of uncle joe's mint balls as well

Does your car have an aftermarket radio installed? If it has there's a reasonable chance you've got +12V on one of the pins in the diagnostic port. That can cause problems for/kill some readers. (Please reply via PM if you want any more info on this, don't want to thread hijack)

As regards the clutch, it would be cool to see it being done on the club stand; but I'm not sure I fancy trying to word the liability waiver! Still, we're discussing plenty of other little things we can do with the display

I lived in Preston until about 18 months ago - and as far as garages to get it done go, I'm afraid I can't be much use. I could probably suggest a few to avoid though!

Seriously though, it's an interesting thought, but I'm concerned about the management it'd need. We're making plans to have a tight and tidy display, so I'd be worried about old gear knobs and gloveboxes knocking around. Worth discussing if it can be kept very tidy maybe?...

Hi all.

Well with less than a month to go, Audis is in the Park is all set to be one of the best days on the Audi calendar.

With Audi lovers attending from all over the country, it really will be one of the best places to see some of the finest Audis around.
It’s about time we all had a dedicated Audi show, and that’s why I created Audis in the Park!
For far too long, we’ve tagged onto VW events up and down the country! Well times are changing!

The website has recently been updated with timings etc and for those of you not wanting to brave the Saturday night camping, I’ve added a local accommodation listing.

The response from clubs and forums has been immense, all of them hoping to take home the very first Audis in the Park “Best Club Display” trophy!
But remember it’s not who has the most cars on the club stand that counts, but presentation and spirit.
If your club/organization hasn’t signed up yet, why not give the event organizer a nudge and get involved, or why not have a go yourself.

I had initially limited club space to 20 cars but due to the interest I soon had to negotiate for a bigger field so the 20 car limit is no longer a problem. More the merrier I say!!!

Over 6000 website hits, 250 people on the mailing list, promoted on nearly every Audi forum I know and advertised by Audi at Goodwood Festival of Speed!
