Facelift double din for non facelift?

I'm currently attempting to retrofit an RNS-e into my single din A3.

Does anyone know if the facelift double din housing and buttons etc will fit in a pre-facelift car? I've had a look at the part numbers and they have only changed for the last digit e.g. the double din housing has changed from 8P0 858 005 A to 8P0 858 005 D

wicked =D can anyone give me all the part numbers for all the bits and bobs i need for the newer style ones. i have all the part numbers for the 04-56 one but if im going to do the conversion i might as well use the new style interior. im going to be using an aftermarket D-DIN unit so dont need the rns-e p/number. would be a great help knowing that tps are helpless!
