As some of you may know i'm just about to pull the triger and buy a set of 19" wheels...The thing is i also like the Brabs V1 on ebay also 19" so it's
a flip of a coin bbs LM's or Brabs ,now to lowering the car, shox & spring's or coilover's i'm not into 60mm + drop's and still value my spine.Let me know what set up your running .My car is a 190t fwd.

Im running KW v2... wound them down a fair bit and there not bone jarring!!

Ill be runnin 19x9 alloys in afew weeks and will be getting AP coilovers as there reasonably priced and made in the KW factory. Ive heard good reviews on them so you could have a look at them and see what you think

I've had KW V1s fitted for nearly 2 years. KW really are a quality product and no mistake. I got great customer service and advice from Germany directly when I had some questions.

They ride better than the factory S-Line quattro GmbH (1BV) suspension, much more compliant even though it's about 15mm lower now.

A perfect stance for me

No rubbing, even with 10mm spacers.

Don't bother with springs, just for for some KWs, you won't regret it one bit.

I can recommend some SPAX adjustable coil overs, not that expensive and I've been running on them for about 3 months now and the handling and look are both vastly improved I already had 19" RS4 reps and lowering it really does make the difference, wish I'd done it sooner

If you're not wanting to go low and your still wanting a pretty smooth ride then a good springs and shocks kit will be your best option.

Same as Bubstar 9x19's running KW V1's 6mm spacer on front 15mm on back healthy drop fantastic ride quality:thumbsup:.

No!! Spacers decrease offset - they make the track wider. So more chance of rubbing!! You don't need spacers.

Do you have a SE or Sport? A 30mm lower SE will be about the same as a Sport.

My 18x8 factory five arm wheels have an offset of 43mm so now with the 10mm spacers they are ET33. They fill the arches perfectly. A 19x9 wheel may not need a spacer to fill the arch, you will just have to experiment., if you want to fit spacers at all of course.

Sport and S-Line are not the same. I found this out when I gave my car a 4x4 wheel alignment. There are different versions of suspension. The B6 S-Lines have 1BV or quattro GmbH suspension. Check your data sticker.

You really won't want to lower your S-Line 30mm!! That will make it 60mm lower than a SE and your car will look like it's got broken suspension (and probably handle like it too).

Go for the coilovers and you'll be able to get the drop exactly as you like. The trouble with springs is they may not make much (if any) difference due to the S-Line suspension being 30mm lower to start.

Jimbo - H&R Trak+ do 12mm (I think!) Very well made, properly textured (helps keep the 4 round things linked to the motor/box combo) and VERY light!

I have the 15mm veriosn on my golf and they were VERY good.... just be VERY VERY VERY careful with the extended bolts... in my old Golf, the wrong length ones cost bem £300 in new ABS rings before I'd got off the drive!

Yes i think spacers will happen when the new suspension and rear ARB happens Don't know when that will be though
