just been to see a a4 se 2.7 tdi on a 06 plate dont now mutch of audis as iv allways had subarus a couple of things i need to now is it has 107000 miles on the clock and last service was at 89000 is this high milag for this engine also it says service in 400 miles an i drove for 50 miles and it still says 400 miles and so many days and ableep noise with 1mph light comes on the dash the miles per gallon reads all over the place at one piont it said 200 miles to the gallon realey want to buy this car but these things are putting me of thanks in advance

106k on an 06 plate is nothing I would worry about as long as the car has a good service history from an Audi main dealer or independant audi garage. You need to check that the servicing has been done correctly.

The 400 mile left till service in my eyes would be a bargaining point on the price. Get them to remove the cost of the next Audi main dealer service.

The display is on instantaneous mpg so will constantly change depending on the way you drive. It can be changed to read overall, per trip etc on the right hand stalk. Mine has read 200mpg before a few times.

Long life service is exactly that, so 40k, 60k, 80k, 100k usually every 20k i believe, with interim services every 10k, so 10k, 30, 50k, 70k etc.

But dont quote me on that, just keep it serviced every 10-20k and you will be fine.
