picked up audi today and love it but notice a clatter when i turn the key from the engine for about 5 seconds and then very quiet , anyone else get this , is it normal .

Mines pretty much the same but not as long as 5 seconds. It's probably due to the fact that the oil is extremely thin (especially with the warm weather at the moment) and it's draining out of the cam followers. overnight.
Maybe a quick check of the oil level just incase.

Second that, mine does exactly the same. and yes its only been doing it with warm weather. you may want to change the oil for a magnetic type.
