On the s-line leather/cloth upholstery seat combo, would my armrest top be cloth or leather?
Oh man, don't get me started on that subject! Despite much protestation, I was flatly refused an 'unwashed' delivery. I'll be working for hours to remove the dealer-installed swirls. It's the only thing I'm not happy about so far. I fully expect it will get the grit-ridden, floor stored, wash 'rag' treatment, and there's nothing I can do about it!

Defiantly dont let them wash it, i insisted all the wrapping was left on which i removed my self and was then detailed with the assistance of Olaf (he might put in an appearance) They all thought i was mad and some sort of nutter but my paint work is now silky smooth & swirl free just as a new car should be.Dont get them to wash it!
Get it home and do a proper job on it yourself, I've seen 16 year old apprentices wielding brooms in buckets and dealers, you dont want your paint scratched!
Cheers, dealer is Worcester. If I bought the vagcom, would I be able to do the check myself?
how did you get you get your delivery date so quickly!!!??? lol!
ordered mine middle of April and being built in week 25!! damn you!! only a 1.9tdie sport though in brilliant black...will be moving up the ranks in future...straight to S3 hopefully...
I think I got lucky with the scheduling, plus I didn't go for any significant upgrades, just a fairly standard car.

My 1.9tdie sport was also ordered in April, and isn't due to dealer until early-mid July, with delivery to me in early-August (per the lease company - suspect it might be earlier than that).
I believe that the free Sport upgrade and the German scrappage scheme (not to mention £35 road tax and 13% company car tax) have made the 1.9 TDIe's rather more popular than usual, so it's probably the engine that's holding you back.
Mine's going to be brilliant black too - good choice. The options I ticked were the lighting pack and de-badging.
