My understanding is they are exact copies of the OEM ones just reduced proportionally in size.

yeah they look as close as ,but being smaller they look different
im not knocking your job at all
i would have put them at the start of the rub strip as well not at the edge of the door more like the original quattro ones were placed .

So thats as per the top pic in my post then? Lol I am glad you lot are as confused as me all giving me different answers! The difference in the UR pic you posted is those rings are dark coloured, whereas mine are silver.

But I think you need to lower it. It kinda looks like an A4 allroad!Lol

I do indeed matey, maybe you haven't read too much on the B6 forum, I mention how it needs it in virtually every thread I post! I spent well over £4.5k on my engine when the timing belt skipped in Feb so I am a bit limited in what I can spend right now

Trust me it's top of my priorities but isn't going to be for a while.

Rings look spot on matey - The OEM pic of the quattro are the way to go IMHO

I still prefer Fade first but if you after OEM then its the opposite you need to be going!!

Good point about the rings starting in line with the Door moulding too me thinks.

..and yeah defo go for the S4 grill mod mate, Looks so much beefier front. Still close to your OEM because its not like your fitting a ABT grill eh!Then when you do get the S4 bumper, Jobs a good-un.

Oh and james, Got to get rid of that Massive Tax wallet, lol...ebay for a fiver will get you a a nice subtle ally Disc holder:icon_thumright:

That 2nd one looks good. I went for the Black one because It matches my roof!!!lol...and im switching to Tight mode for a while, over spent a little (not forgetting the S4 Blades though to come) in the past couple months.
these were on my list but need the B6 Brakes!!!

I have used magnetic tax disc holders on many cars in the past and they do not last. When I bought the A4 I got the richbrook aluminium holder as in your second link and its still as good as new even though i'm on my second windscreen and third tax disc. IMHO deffinately worth the extra £££'s so far. Looks great with the roof bars and mirrors aswell.

Told ya James - Get it done!!!! (well, when they become available for less than about £170 for the pair, lol) I've did see some S4 fog grills on Ebay a while ago, now I think about it. I'm sure these could be made to fit the standard bumper too.

I used to have one like that, I got the brushed look richbrook one but on hot summer days the sticky pads weren't up to the job... If you threw yourself into a corner you'd end up with a reasonably heavy piece of metal flying across your dash!!
