A4 S-Line AVANT Towbar

Hi all,

New member posting (recently come over from the VW T4 forum, as had to get rid), so now got A4 Avant instead, very nice too.

Just wanted to say thanks to member who posted up .pdf file about fitting towbar.

Spent Bank Holiday Monday following instructions and got a cracking job done, about 9 hours in total, with only 1.5 hours spent actually fitting towbar! All rest was spent stripping out the rear of the car's interior.

Anyway, thoroughly recommend the guide, only hassle was that I couldn't print it off, so had to borrow wifey's laptop and have that in garage with keyboard covered in clingfilm(!).

Two red LED's fitted in by the interior light that "Bathe the cabin area in a warm red glow"

I take it similar to the Beemers little orange lights?

Are they difficult to fit? I take it as they are so low a voltage that they can be piggy-backed off the interior lighting?

On a serious note - if you get the original audi versions they're plug and play, but you do need to srill a couple of small holes for the led's to shine through - but they're marked from behind so you can't go wrong......
