Yeah raging bull is like a hand cannon, alot of vids on youtube,

sidi bear eas it in the uk? iwas under the impression that it was just shotguns etc now? does that uk still have indoor pistol ranges etc? cheers oski

sidibear,
me and a mate have recently joined swadlincote rifle culb ( in the midlands )
half way through our 3 month probationary period ( new regs apparently )
once completed and we have our FAC im considering getting a GSG-5, would value your opinion on it mate.
cheers

S3-Oski, yes, you can have any calibre you like as long as you have a good reason for it, target shooting is obviously the main one. Search online for your nearest shooting club or contact the NRA for details. Its only handguns and semi auto's larger than .22 calibre that are banned.
But failing that, there isn't half some fun stuff you can still get.

1 Wheelonly. Well done, keep at it. Its the NRA regs for shooting on military ranges that has changed, probabtionary memberships have always been around. As for the GSG5, great fun. I put around 10000 rounds through mine before it broke. The bolt carriage is weak and apparently they are re designing it to get over the problem. They are ammo sensitive and need high velocity stuff, and don't touch the mag when you are firing it or it jams. They need a bit of care while shooting but they are a good fun gun.
Are you going to shoot the outdoor ranges ? I might see you one day at Kingsbury.

sidi,
yes mate, heard alot about about kingsbury, will deffo be popping along once all completed.
swad is outdoor, or do you mean more of an open range ( sorry for the lack of knowledge, still a newbie mate )
im member 519 down at swad so you can imagine theres a few down there with some nice bits of kit!
going to add HV to it aswell, would like something like a 308 aswell eventually.

cheers on the heads up on the GSG5, seems a good tool and looks the dogs too.
not many people selling em though, do you know anywhere and what should i be paying.
what ammo would you recommend?
sorry for all the question mate, but getting all excited about it all now, cant wait to own my own.

S3-Oski. Hational Rifle Association.
Linky...
http://www.nra.org.uk/

1Wheelonly, expect to pay around the £500 mark, I use Remmington Thunderbolt as I get them for £25/1000, most people use CCI minimag, around £60/1000
I have a .243 and can group 10 rounds in a 3" group at 300yrds, the recoil on a .308 can be brutal after around 10 shots.
I shoot at Kingsbury with Cannock Rifle club as I am also a member of them, they have around three shoots a month at Kingsbury and occasionally Whittington.
