Poll: What colour should I paint my callipers?

I have got some S4 calipers that I need to clean and paint. I have a black A4 S-line with the 18" 5 spoke wheels.

What colour should I go for?

I thought about doing them this colour, but then saw a black S4 with red calipers and thought it looked a bit halfords for my liking, go for black! I'm thinking about adding the 'S' decal to them too from an S-Line decal set I got off ebay. The full S-line will struggle to fit properly I think, but the S should fit nicely, I'll let you know how it goes...

I've been leaning towards black myself for the understated look, but silver might look kind of factory? I have to agree with you razza1 I've seen some black cars with red calipers and it looks kind of silly, but looks good on other colours like silver. I'll let the poll run for another while and see what the consensus is.

I'd go for black - nice and understated but still mean and menacing. The sheer size of the things says it all. I think silver will just blend in with the discs.

If you haven't got the anti vibration plate for them you can get this from the dealer, it has the S4 logo on it aparantley. I've been in two minds about doing this, so I think I'll just pain them black and miss out the decals. Whatever you go for, they are definately going to look aggresive.

I'd go black - then apply an SLine Vinyl sticker on (once the paint has dried) to give a nice contrast.

A touch of lacquer over the top will keep in sane

I did this years ago on my 97 Mazda 323f - using white Tarox stickers. Fooled people for years, and never discoloured

I wuld go for silver , put some pictures up when your done , i might do it as well
