Also got to hold an OZ algeritta (sp?) today, very light, very simple looking wheel. I cant decide.

might want to squeeze in some 245 wheels in there...think she can take it. No plans to lower the car so there should be plenty of rubber space. I drove like an idiot up my local hill last night and came back alive, so the suspension is good enough for me. The RE050A is much better than the Goodyear gsd F1 I had previously.

Plan to use wobble bolts as well unless someone can give me a convincing reason not to. I can only source these wheels in 5x114.3 around here.

So, what's ASN's wheel wet dream? dont tell me dymags, because on a car like the A3/S3, it's like a fat man with the best sports shoes on.

<continues daydreaming while flipping the burger/>

Out of them two id have the bottom ones........

AHhha !!! hahahaha :respekt:

Roflmao.. U shunted the kid to da max ! :p xx

Do you normally speak like that in public? Or is it just an accidental overdose of MTV ?

how much you looking to spend mate .....im not sure how much them wheels are you have chosen but there maybe nicer wheels for the price , what size you looking at 18" or 19" the bottom ones are ok but id go for 19" in them have you thought about reps or you an og man only ...

Hi mate,

is there any particular reason you have gone for those 2 sets of rims? Weight or something? What A3 do you have btw?

would prefer to stay ori.

Had rs4 reps on my old A4, and while it looked decent, there's always this nagging feeling that it isnt the real thing. Looking to replace those as well.

Volks dont cost as much here as BBS when compared to europe/usa. Guess the abundance of japanese cars here help a lot.

TBH, I'm looking at 18 or even 17 with a huge spacer. Very likely stay with 18 though.

Because deep down inside, beneath this McD apron and burger flipping part time job, I'm actually a ricer at heart. This fancy american fast food chain store apperentice dont mean a thing when it come to taste.

When I was a kid my mom put Fast & Furious on repeat to coo me to sleep, this taught me to respect the arts. It isnt east to design graphics that'd blend in with all the canards and wings (that provide essential downforce btw).

When I hear a blowoff valve vent or a sweet 4" exhaust rip to the tone of vtec kicking in, my heart flutters.

Then again, I drive a S3, pre-facelift, red.:racer:

Think I need to stop drinking and go to bed.

If you get these, McDonalds may promote you so you can start delivering! No more flippin burgers!

The red and yellow "flex" definitly works and loving the centre caps...26s are a bit on the big but with 400mm spacers, you can take the dub look to the extreme with the whole wheels poking - it might even catch on.

Maybe plans for the future may be those decals? As they're paying you, it only makes sense to give your employer something in return! Definitly make employee of the month.

:D

hahaha lol funny kaz buzzing off the 26" sticker on it check this lol

You may laugh, but around these parts that car look is all-too-common!

They're called "Donks", and the formula is simple: take mid-1980's American car (with all the styling elements and finesse of a cereal box) and add ENORMOUS rims. Top it off with rubber-band-thickness "tires", and you're done.

And now a cost breakdown:

Car: $1,200
Wheels: $6,000

Final value: Tuppence.

I think we've just hit upon a new 'reality TV' competition: Where competing teams take old 'style-challenged' clunkers, and spend preopsterous amounts to make them even LESS appealing. -The winning team is the one which which spends the most, and yet most greatly diminishes the value.

Seriousloy, -Look up 'Donks" on Youtube or whatever. -Now consider that at my work, there are no less than three of them at any given moment, in the parking lot.

You can teach people to taste, but you can't teach taste to people!

yeah i know donks i put a youtube link to some mad cars in the youtube forum a donk burnout is one of them lol...........
