Kev what other plans you got for the S3 cosmetics wise.. i like the wheels.. something Ive never seen on an A3/S3 before.

not to sure on the cosmetic now the trims on the lower part of the doors are light painted grey which looks really good in real life the pictures dont quite show it off, so im thinking of doing the roof and spoiler the same colour other then that its all i have planned for it, for now lol

I Just get the conception on here that if your car is on anything but RS4's And you've debadged the grill and tried to make it a little bit euro then your automatically a CHAV.

I personally love MarkB's old A3. Didnt realise the Engine bay was still bright yellow if it had, had a full bare metal respray then that'd be a different story.

The rear lights are gash yes, but i love the smoothed front bumper, smoothed doors, and the interior is lovely!

Where is there a nicer A3 on this board? Im talking cosmetically here....

I like it when people do something different rather then the rest of the sheep who follow the crowd. (No offence by the way)

Thought id seen it on here before. I think its in the "Show us your A3/S3" thread. Looks like alot of work went into it.

hang on chaps.... i freely use the word chav but associate it with things that are chav worthy only.... the car above isnt in my opinion chav, although he has gone too far IMO....some things look really good

i tried that but the spring didn't seem to sit on the rubber good?

Yup, it use to belong to Markb who swopped it for a Honda Accord TypeR. It was originally Yellow and he had it resprayed Yellow again, got bored of it then had it resprayed another shade of yellow, but it came out flourecent Yellow/Green which I don't think he liked before going all Euro with it and changing to Dolphin Grey which is the final look you can see in the PH Ad. Don't think he did the rear lights or interior though, that's the work of the new owner I think?

I'm probably the only guy on this Forum(apart from him) that's seen the car in all the colours it went through before he sold it.

what make coilovers do you have?? as mine have plastic cups that the spring sits in at the bottom so i removed the lower part of the bump stops cut all the rubber off then bonded the stops to the plastic cups which are only around 2mm thick then i completely removed the rubber spring cussion bit at the top side to where the spring sits in on the body and didnt fit the adjuster, all in all i removed around 12-15mm of unwanted stuff which made the difference, as long as you leave the tower part of the bump stop in at the bottom and it cant just fall out then the springs will fit in there fine as they cant go any where once under load.
im doing my thread on the weekend or monday once i can get around to taking pics but doubt weather ill take any of the springs etc
