Pretty pleased with it to be honest, comments welcome

Will look awesome when the mirrors are matching!

Ha ha... Whats the matter with you - get in the garage with a tin of halfords finest :moa:

Seriously though - looks really well - I'm actually suprosed at how much I like it. I've always liked the RS4 in the darker colours -but that just does it for me.

Top marks for giving it a go. :superman:

Those pictures look like they did an incredible job of wrapping the car.

Can i ask, how did they get on the with the parking sensors??

Also, standing next to the car and opening doors etc (without looking intentionally) can you actually tell its been vinyl wrapped?

Parking sensors still work, the vinyl is thin enough for them to react to it like paint. I have not had the door shuts wrapped as I don't mind people knowing it was originally black. Its still a neat a tidy job when the door is opened. I plan to keep the wrap on 6-12months and then go back to black. Cheers for the comments :sly:

Wow, what an amazing product, and something I'd never heard of.

Be interesting to see how well it wears.

If you were very wealthy you could have a different colour every few weeks.

In the the cold light of day im not sure I like the alloys. Here are some day pics after a quick wash, I am honestly interested in other peoples views, love it, hate it or not sure like me?

I like it Nick - think the wheels finish it off quite nicely, and even the door shuts look so different, they look quite cool!
Blackened Exhaust tips next??? ;)

I need a small break i think.... maybe

I love your car. I adore the RS4 alloys, but if I was being REALLY picky they are a shade or two too dark for my personal preference and seem to merge in with the tyres a little to much. Still very nice though.

that is a fair comment, and I tend to agree, I wasn't wanting them quite that dark...

Painting the rim of the wheels white would break it up a bit and give the definition between the wheels and tyres. It could work, but could end up looking a little chavvy I guess.

I've got black wheels on my black A3, but they are the CH with the stainless lip and I think it stops it looking too black.

The wrap looks awesome though, very impressed with the quality of their work.

Looks amazing mate!

I've had a quote for doing my S3 in matte black from the same company, but in birmingham - £800.... hmmmm can't wait :)

I agree - I think I would have got them done in a dark grey shade rather than black as they are.

The vinyl finish is amazing though

Ta!

Judging by how dark the grills look, I'm guessing the alloys look a bit lighter in real life? I rather like it. If you're not totllay sure, you could always find out the Audi paint code for the titanium package wheels and have them done in that colour.

I think you need a short plate next :)

IMO they need some 15mm spacers putting on all round.. Then it needs lowering, as soon as you stick dark wheels on a car (especially a white car) it makes the wheels look small..

Just those couple of things would really sort it out..

Looks good though, just needs finishing off :)

My cap is doffed :hi:, it takes large melons to step up like this.
Your car looks great and having the mirrors done will balance the colours perfect.

Pete has it nailed... needs a shiney/silver rim to break up the black alloy/black tyre combo! I do like the idea of lowering and spacers mind! :eyebrows:

Hats off to you though, top motor!

Wow that looks amazing and I like the contrast of the car and alloys, spacers would set it off nicely though:thumbsup:

I think Mitch and Jonny have it nailed.

So, can you 'wrap' the mirror housings in Matte Black?
And then, if you have the time, budget and desire look in to lowering it and pushing the wheels out a little?
From an aesthetic perspective it would bring it all together nicely and stop the wheels from coming across as smaller than they actually are ;)

Have to agree with Warren, wheels too dark, the Audi titanium finish would have been better.

Good decision. When I saw your first set of pictures I thought they were a bit too dark but I put that down to the night. After the day pictures, I still stand by that. Just a smidge too dark... The vinyl finish it very impressive!

Nice, like the carbon trim on the steering wheel. Carbon trim in the RS4 certainly looks much better than the other options that were available, not lovin the wheels though, much prefer the original colour.

Smal tweaks making quite a big difference Klauster - the new headlights improve the front end so much.... and the carbon looks lovely inside... especially on the steering wheel.

What are you doing with the alloys then? Going a lighter shade?? OEM titanium colour????

so so nice i love the inside, carbon trim is amazing id be a proud man if i owned that car ......

Like the carbon steering wheel, an improvement over OE look. Is it very slippy in your hands?
