DONE! Nice and sunny

Overall the job is excellent, and as for the noise, there is absolutly no drooning in the car at any speed and from the lights between 1000-3000rpm it sounds awesome, a deep rumble:yes:

How much did that set you back if you don't mind me asking?

looks good mate do they do other tail pipe options????

Look very nice, any difference in power etc (i know there waint be massive gains but could be alittle) where are they based?

They've done a great job on that, very nice indeed.

Was it expensive?, I'm looking at getting someone to make me a catback system for my A3.

s3 kev: you can have any tailpipe you want, he's got loads to choose from
dani b19: not much difference in power really, might feel a bit better when i get the decat done, he's based in Parbold, Wigan

it looks excellent.

I like the look of the single pipe, but i get accused of being a chav by my son. Good write up and excellent pics. We need to know how much though!

looks really goood!

Any chance of a vid for the sound?

the price is £375 plus vat:icon_thumright:
v.i.p uae: i'll try and get a vid up tomorrow, it sounds really good, well it does to me, i hate loud exhausts and this is more deep than loud

Sandip, that looks mint mate!!!

The workmanship is spot on and it fills the gap perfectly, cant wait for the vid!!

Sounds sweet dude, i want one now!!!

looks like a very good job mate ,
tail pipe looks very similar maybe a touch bigger than my supersprint, and i have 2! not to every ones taste but i like it.

i think these ovals look good...although i am swayed towards S3fan's son's comments.... sounds good too, not massively different to the existing system though so dont think im gonna be investing just yet .....im oooooot

It looks very nice, but I don't think it sounds that different to standard.

If you want a sportier note, I would go for the Supersprint street system. They do away with the centre silencer, so you get a much deeper note.

no matter what my sons says, I really like the look of a single oval. I have a bit of a problem with the standard dual pipes of the S3, mainly due to the fact its a single pipe with a dual end to look good....the dual pipe is just for show.

I am definitely leaning towards that single oval...I can be the oldest chav in town.

lol, There's also Powerflow exhaust's. There the same as pipewerks, You take your car and choose a tailpipe option and they weild it up and fit for a good price. I like the Miltek catback i got, Makes a lovey sound with the De-cat and can cruse without an anoying drooooonnnnneeeee! lol :arco:

single oval is 'in yer face' a bit for me and not very subtle but hey whatever floats your boat.......Chav!
powerflow :puke2:utter rubish

might be that they have got better at fitting them?

my freind had his done there a few years back it lasted around 6 months before the baffles broke up in the rear box and they wouldnt refund him all they would do is replace it which meant he had to travel up there again to have a new one made up, also the pipe work had surface corrosion nothing major but a sign of poor quality materials, they may have got better since then but id never go there after his story

I spose I could go with an oval Supersprint.

Oh yeah....there was something else.....Tim and Jase....:blahblah1:

The original S3 exhaust is not a single pipe. It's got twin pipes from the rear backbox.

As for single pipe going into a dual. How's that really so different from a 3" pipe turning into a 6 x 4 pipe at the end to look good?

Sounds good buddy and really looks the part :arco:

It will coke up after a while and sound a little differant.....How about you post a video up of it now and see if we can notice the differance?
