Led all day running lights + new front grill

Hi all,

I have an A3 2004 8p 1.6fsi door and was wondering wether there are any led all day running lights that I can get to fit on this car? Also i would like to fit the new grill on it is this possible.

Im new too all this mod stuff.

New grille required the bonnet to be changed also.

You can buy aftermarket daylight running LED's but they look pretty nasty (mount to the grilles around the fog lights.

To put OE daylight running lights would be a fairly pricey job as you'd need to ensure the loom was modified to cope, then buy the lights and refit, then set up in VAGCOM.

If your not a seasoned modder with a reasonable budget I'd probably give it a miss.

depends which grill he means but yeah to do even 1st facelift wasnt cheap & to do the 09 facelift well you're talking 3-4k if you do it new parts & the full on bixenon/led drl lights, need to be more explanatory of what you want interms of year grill etc

thanks all for the responses. Ill probably give the lights a miss. to the response for what year grill anything from the 2006 and up.

i have the cheap ebay ones on mine, i think they look ok, sometimes i think they look tacky n sometimes i like em! they are a cheap mod if you dont like em just take em off!

You could fit the S6 DRLs in the fog light holes. Someones done it on here but I can't think of his name....

I should be putting some LED DRLs' into my headlamps in a few months.

Just saving up for insurance atm and need to buy a few bits to finish off my ICE

LEDs are just an idea but hopefully, it should be doable onmy current A3..

mates dying is always a shitter i lost 3 in 5 years its really crap one just like what happened hear but was alive for 2 weeks it was horrific ......but yeah kiddies great and im getting it lowered on monday it wont be like its on coils the misses wont like it to low anyway but will be like savs orange s3 then il come see you lol... for that seat belt chime removal after that its osir skirts, mudgaurds, lamix x and cosmetics are done off to the engine then ......

As much as I sympathise with losing a friend & in your instance blazin IIRC one of your friends dying wasnt his fault or am I wrong involving the robbery, but no disrespect to anyone but stealing your parents car, doing 130mph, then dying because of this, I mean what do we expect is going to happen in these instances, the kid paid the ultimate price, also what would have happened if he had hit another car or pedestrian & killed someone/them, then what would you be thinking, I certainly wouldnt be thinking oh poor kid cause at end of day it takes a real idiot to do this & dont bust my chops about this cause many a person has said the same/worse than this on the site, its not personal just overall picture of these events that happen cause of plain stupidity, also the kid had already been busted/questioned what the day before about taking a vehicle without permission, then does it again, did he not learn his lesson the 1st time, I mean do I need to go on or is there some event that I missed that changes the whole outlook of this event???

Its not meant as a dig at Kaz's friend or anyone but you get my point, for me its not tragic, its plain stupidity, no one deserves that to happen but its the old saying, play with fire, you get seriously burnt.................16yrs old aswell, waste man real waste for 5 minutes of fun
