Anyone up for a meet?

junction 33 cardiff west services, having a bad time wit my S4! one of the lambda sensors have gone i think. vagcom picked it up but its a long story. do i give it to welsh vw specialists near where i work to sort it or buy the sensor and doin it myself and risk not curing the problem? HELP! ha

mite be booked in wednesday next week so hopefully she be ready for the meet. ill be there anyway but in a different ride, look forward to seein a few more lads this time
 
Really need to find out what time this is gonna happen. If its going to be the 25th I have to take the Mother-in-law to the airport, so hopefully we can arrange around that. She flies at 5pm so either late morning or late afternoon would be better for me.
 
how about 12 midday? not too early and you can take the mother in law to the airport then mac, happy days:thumbsup:

is everyone ok with that or shall we make it later in the day?

Need to open a Photobucket account. Upload the pictures, then copy the image link it gives you and insert it into your post.........easy peaaaaaaaasy!!!

Open a free acount up, choose your pics, upload them, thm when you hover over the pic a box comes up with a choice of links, choose the bottom one, copy n paste the link and stick it into your asn Post. Job done
 
didnt need photobucket in the end, jus copied the pic and pasted it in, no need for IMG or URL codes, fukin things

Yes, next weekend at 12. I have just been informed by my son he is playing football next saturday. Hopefully it will be at home so I should be back in the house by 11.30, just enough time to get there by 12. If its an away match I may be running late though, but I will be there.
 
im 100% there unless summin goes wrong, have a few days off at the end of the week so the meguiars and me are having a few dates lol. hope the weather holds out for us this weekend, nice to see all the cars shinning!!!!:)

has anyone got vagcom? and are they bringing it with them cuz my S4 is ill ha ill sort you out if you can get the fault codes up!!!
 
Good to hear Tazzy :) Yeah some young guy about 24 just been a idiot driving up my **** trying to over take plain dumb **** really mate. Car should be getting collected tomorrow and i'll get a car in till mine back. So not all bad think its another audi, but they did say if none are in could be a bmw or merc.

I'll have VAG-COM (well, VCDS) and a HEX-USB+CAN interface with me on the day, with a 2x2 adapter so we're covered for pretty much anything :)

At least you wont be the only one in an A3 and im sure your car is lovely. (Blackfire midnight sun carnuba wax covers a multitude of sins ) ;)

It was nice to see everyone today, I have to say i was suprised by the turn out considering the last local meet i went to.
There was a good spread of vehicles from old ( ish,lol ) 1997/8 to 58 plate a S3

:drool:Mine wants that one!!! Fair play that S3 was stunning, as were all the cars(EXCEPT faction1:undwech:). It was nice to meet some new ones and catch up with old mates.
I liked the fact we all just chatted and didnt it there with our music booming and engines revving. :racer:

Shame the organiser couldn't make it,(is you still alive Ash??):shrug: however we will definatly have to do it again some time. Maybe at our house?? We have a 20ft drive so plenty of room!!! :idea:

To meet other members was great ,Bryzan had load's of tip's ect .I now have a good idea of what to do with my car now.Will keep an eye out for the next meet (count me in) .Again nice to have meet you all .By the way great pic's
 
Was nice to meet everyone yesterday and put faces to a few people I have known for ages. The weather was good and managed to hold out apart from a few showers. Sorry I had to go early but had the chance to put the mother-in-law on a plane, which I am sure you will all sympathize with ;)
We will definitely have to arrange another one for the future, maybe get even more there as a few were missing this time around. Nice pictures Byzan......not that its probably that important but maybe someone could photoshop the plates out though ooooppps
 
nice to meet everyone yesterday, nice turn out considering a few were missing. a good selection of cars too which was good, after looking at the pics of the cars i realised how high my car looks with the standard rims and suspension so i think some BBS CH's and H+R coilys will be my first investment after i get the lambda sensors done and get her back to full health.

CMD i checked out that J.P Board and they seem pretty good and cheap so i think ill give em a try with mine. ill let you know how it turns out:)

hope to catch you again at another meet and maybe we can change the location for one day to get some good pics of the cars(cardiff bay springs to my mind):) or not lol up to everyone, anyway till next time!!!
 
S4twiggy ,as i said at the meet you want be disappointed with the service from J P Board .These guys care and there is a level of trust with them.I'm booking my car in with them in the 7-10 day's.They will fit your part's or source the part's you require (vag) or other .Keep in touch and let me know how you got on ....Ask for Chris in service when them.

Its £6 a car just to get into the park. The actual event and to show the car is free(very rare!!)
If you fancy it add yourself to the list and when it is nearer the time we will give you more info. Mark is organising it anyway so will keep you posted.
As for going up early I think we may be camping but again will let you know for defo nearer the time.

whereabouts is the event taking place this year princess?

mark's mate will be getting in touch with him soon as ive jus sorted oput that timing belt kit out with him, my old man is buying it so he should be mentioning it soon, jus letting you know:)
