Hi all

Hope every one fine and car going good. Ok well after getting my 2.0T sold it due to me moving out and needing extra cash (also insurance changed there price), oh i do miss her:bye:
Anyway didnt have a car for a while so went back to my beloved 1.6 A3 and decide to mod her and keep her till next year. That enough of the life storey :)

Last night around 10:15pm I was out on my way home with two people in my car. Another car behide with two girls. Seen some skoda estate fly past them and cut them up. So they beeped.
Then the idiot decide 'OH i think i'll take on the audi' So he decided to drive right up my ****. So i slowed down, not like stamping foot on the break just slow and soft touches.
Anyway he tried to over take me, but couldnt! As i dropped the box into 3rd and decided i didnt want him to take me over, but after thinking decided it was safer to let him go past me. I mean he must of been around 2 foot away from my back bumper. All i could see was him in my rearview mirror. Come to next traffic lights and i ended up in front of him as it went into one way.

All of a SUDDEN BANG the f*cking **** hit my car not once not twice but three f*cking times. The second hit my car nearly ended up going sides ways but managed to control it.
I was quite calm with what was not expected think because i was in shock. Anyway police came they didnt say much, asked me if it was my car? Why do i have facelift back lights & alloys? Why my plate on a slant? Why do i have so much money on me? Why is there three of us together? Am i related to so and so? How did i get the car? And how long have i had it?]
As always doing nothing but annoying f*ck out of me. Guy p*ssed me off big time i thought i was going to deck him. Friend almost decked him but managed to cool him down.

Here some photo's, guy doesnt want to go through insurance. If i dont go through that he paying for a new bumper and it to get sprayed. But to be 100% honest i will go through them, he was 24 dont you think he would of left all the stupid driving behide. I may be 18 but i wouldnt consider myself a boy racer.

Also p*ssed off as the money i had was going on tints and votex back bumper. But obviously not at the moment. As you can see car needs a clean which i'll be doing today so will take some more photos. What you think of the cost of damage?

Thanks

Ashley

Sucks dude.

I have had my car ran into twice now whilst I wasn't even in it.

The company I work for means I have to travel to 14 other sites, anyway, my car seems to be a magnet for lorries, as ive been so far hit by an 18 wheeler (rear boot / bumper / light cluster damage) and a light low-loader type builders truck (front wing / front bumper damage), both of these occurred when my car was parked in the site car park.

Really couldn't make it up, the first guy's insurance company was just a total joke, they decided to drag it on for 8 months before liability was established, I decided I didnt want to pay the excess (as it was undoubtedly his fault) so I waited, I waited the 8 months, eventually they accepted blame, I got it all fixed up as per the insurance company, 2 weeks later it gets rear ended in another of my company's car parks...

Ash, I'm lost now mate about what cars you have got/had etc, explain on here or msn mate so I can get it, also did the cops check his insurance was valid, I would use insurance cause if he's that much of a **** driver I reckon he could leave you holding your **** in your hand come payment time for the damage & deny responsibility or even doing it & it would drag on & on for ages.

Definitely go through the insurance. As NHN says he may try something later.

How did he manage to hit you three times? Was he ramming you or something?

Hi Ash, There are soon f**k wits on the road. I would have thought the feds would have spent most of their time looking at the knob who drove into the back of you!! Definitely go through insurance

Seems to be the worlds most unlucky car that one!

On a side note what sort of copper notices you have the newer rear light clusters............

Go through your insurance mate... safest way, especially if there are problems with the quality of the reapir and insist on it going through the Audi delaer network to ensure your Audi paint warranty is not void.
Cost: i've had this happen (all be it in a far more minor way) in my S3 twice now. Both times the bumper skin was replaced which requires painting and then blending in to the rear 3/4 panels.... came to about £550 each time.....!

Going through your insurance also ensures you get an appropriate courtesy car etc.

It's a pain mate, but clearly not your fault so let the insurance deal with it - that's what you pay it for!

Hope it's sorted soon enough :)

On a side note what sort of copper notices you have the newer rear light clusters............

I have to admit I did take 3 looks at that bit of text cause thats very observant of him, maybe he should of used his ****** observation on the ****** car in the back of Ash's, I mean WTF really, who cares about his lights & wheels, not exactly for the wrong car are they or lit up like a ****** xmas tree.

I had someone dent my bumper and conveniently leave without a word...nice.

go through insurance as he sounds and obviously drives like a complete nob jockey.

im not jokin id of got out and put him in hospital ..... trashed his car and just paid for the work myself........ the ****..... how did you not leather him i dont know

im not jokin id of got out and put him in hospital ..... trashed his car and just paid for the work myself........ the ****..... how did you not leather him i dont know

Ooooh dear I think someone needs to take a chill pill

im not jokin id of got out and put him in hospital ..... trashed his car and just paid for the work myself........ the ****..... how did you not leather him i dont know

With that anger again mate, what gives

Ash wouldnt be so stupid given he's young lad & hasnt got the money to throw at damage done to his car by other knobheads, sensible thing was calling Police so witness even if the copper was a egotistical tit, so the other guy cant walk so easily.

To smack the other guy would be the worse thing to do tbh, £500-1k damage to your car, but several thousand claim against him for physical wounding, I know which I'd choose, get car fixed 1st then :whistle2: lol

I would say dont go through insurance normally and if it was an accident but seen as this kid sounded like a massive clock sod it go through his insurance he might stop been a pen15 then when it gets too expensive for him to have anything different to drive, agreed with the above also should have KO'd him

well my car is my car and if some guy was touching my bumper and then done that i would snap hes obviously a tit in need of some manners ashley
could of had a baby or anything in his car like i would of..... nothing messes with your house kids or car thats just the way it is ive seen some dickheads on the road but touching my bumper and ends up ramming me and my 7 month old baby is in the car then sorry your gettin it ...... may be your principles are different than mine but thats the way i see it... sorry if it offends i just woke up seen the thread and thought what a wa*&er and i know nhn your right that is the sensible thing to do but if my car was wacked and my kid crying then its a different thing all together

blazin, what would you do if someone spilt your pint then? :eyebrows:

no honest im not a nobhead im a gental guy if someone spilt my pint fair enough i can even take ten lads calling me a **** honest i can take a laugh with anyone but car, house, kids , is a different kettle

TBH you should have let him past in the first place, but that's no excuse for him hitting your car - I'd definitely go through insurance, was it even an accident him hitting you?

Over the last year or so, I've been commuting in and out of London every day and to my surprise, the driving standards have been generally fairly good - it's just the odd plank that does something daft. I'm no angel either sometimes - lane hopping and undertaking now and then - but I don't play cat and mouse with other cars.

I won't even sound the horn for other drivers unless I know I can get away (i.e. they're travelling in a different direction). It's just not worth it - there's plenty of muppets looking for trouble and I'd rather let them meet their match further down the road. I've seen people get of cars to hurl abuse at others and even throw heavy objects at them too - thanks but no thanks.

Nasty one Ash!
As everyone else says mate, make sure you go through the insurance.
If it'd been a genuine accident and the other driver was a decent sort, then maybe think about avoiding insurance.
But the dude obviously needs taken off the road, so get claiming against him!!

go through insurance, just to be on the safe side, his fault anyway!, use your mates as witness's shame how they always frame the victim as a suspect

ashley quote ; he was 24 dont you think he would of left all the stupid driving behide. I may be 18 but i wouldnt consider myself a boy racer......

alan_partridge.jpg

im 32 years old and drive like an absolute maniac ........ but a safe one ...start her up lynn...

Absolutely gutted for you mate. I can relate to being young (just turned 19) with a nice car. It's bad enough being 18 (or 19 now) with any half decent car, but an Audi or similar and instantly there's something dodgy about you.

Didnt you know, old Ash is the Kingpin of Wales, lol

Yeap Wellies & Sheep, if you see a sheep with its front legs leaning over a hedge or wall you know you're in wales, lol :undwech:

Thanks mate. Ouch know that takes the p*ss,. I hope this dont drag on to be honest. I'll be p*ssed he lives about 5mins away from me, where be bumped me his house was about 25 feet away from the bump. What was your insurance like about the two bumps?
18 wheeler!

Haha Nigel, Ok the 2.0t went start of March. Basically to insure the car it was £2,875 paid it up front to get it out of the way fully comp etc etc. Then further down the line, got pulled and police said i had no insurance explained who i was etc etc. Anyway they let me off phoned the car insurance company they cancelled it as i was short. Explained they sent me the cover letter and every thing explain the price and i signed. But now they wanted £4,090 which to be honest. Is taking the p*ss. So had to cancell the insurance. And then every where else was £4k + to be honest i could do alot with £4k. So had to go didnt have a car for a while as my mum was using the 1.6 now and then well about 3times since january.

Yes Nigel police checked his insurance and every thing and they just said why were you so close behide him and he couldnt answer, to be honest me and my friends thought he was drunk or on some thing! Was the way he was acting nervous and talking. Yeah i will defo take your advise Nigel, well anyway im phoning my insurance company to day to get it sorted i want the car in asap. Would i be able to ask for a Audi garage or some thing? Thanks for the advise Nigel

Yeah defo go through insurance! Thanks mate. Well the first one was 100% rammed me! So was the second one, third when was were i slowed down. To be honest i was so close to knocking him out.

Definitely go through the insurance. As NHN says he may try something later.

How did he manage to hit you three times? Was he ramming you or something?

Well first of all they just wanted to know how i had the car, was it mine etc but then when they saw it was mine i did have insurance they went straight to him asking question why was you so close behide etc etc and saying its his fault. Hopefully be able to get it sorted soon. I'll still be coming to the met Mac so its ok just a bit of damge and i hate driving around in a car with damage.

Hi Ash, There are soon f**k wits on the road. I would have thought the feds would have spent most of their time looking at the knob who drove into the back of you!! Definitely go through insurance

Oh it is lol!

Seems to be the worlds most unlucky car that one!

One that like to annoy me be was basically trying to tell me my car had the wrong plates on! I said its not a 09 if you look at the front you will see it doesnt have the new headlights, grill or bumper. d*ck lol. He was like why have you got the newer lights i said because i liked them. Then they left and was checking the over car over. Also with me being how i am with my last name and family police are looking for any excuse to get me or some one in my family locked up. Dont mean to sound big headed but police only know me due to family background. And we are not some rough family. Just a normal family who are close but when some on in trouble or got problems we are there to sort it out.

On a side note what sort of copper notices you have the newer rear light clusters............

Hi Jamie will be go ing through insurance but have to pay £500 first! Which i'm not happy about but will get it back in time i suppose. Car will 100% be going to a Audi centre. Could you explain about the paint warranty and how if it went else were it be void? £550 each OUCH defo be insurance lol :) Ahh thanks Jamie it is a pain but wasnt my fault hope it all gets sorted soon thanks

Go through your insurance mate... safest way, especially if there are problems with the quality of the reapir and insist on it going through the Audi delaer network to ensure your Audi paint warranty is not void.

Was a ar*e hole tried to blame me after in till i raised my face and said he was lucky i never decked him one! I would of been p*ssed if i was you! Some one done that to my corsa took out the right side bumper wing and head light was parked as i was having food.

I had someone dent my bumper and conveniently leave without a word...nice.

go through insurance as he sounds and obviously drives like a complete nob jockey.

Blazin normaly would of decked him and people who were there, were actually suprised a never. Lets just say done it before and not with all the trouble after it. Getting arrested, court etc etc. Lol and the way my knuckles look well not worth it and my head swells out like a cartoon hand lol! And plus friend was going to deck him so had to control him and finding it quite hard to these days lol.
The only time i'd probably deck some one now is, if i saw them smash up my car with some thing or windows or throw paint etc over it. Only time i'd react with anger :)

im not jokin id of got out and put him in hospital ..... trashed his car and just paid for the work myself........ the ****..... how did you not leather him i dont know

Lol thats true Nigel, every thing would go against me aswell! And the claims he make well they cost a bit because it wouldnt be just one punch:whistle2: I deserve a GOLD star for walking away who going to give me one :)

With that anger again mate, what gives

Ash wouldnt be so stupid given he's young lad & hasnt got the money to throw at damage done to his car by other knobheads, sensible thing was calling Police so witness even if the copper was a egotistical tit, so the other guy cant walk so easily.

Lol he not a kid he about 25 a fully grown man who still thinks he a boy racer, 100% thought he taken some thing the way he was acting and how nervous he was etc. He said this 'I wouldnt of minded if it was a old car or **** but its a f*cking audi gonna cost loads. To which i said should of thought about his action before doing any thing. Lol can always KO him when i see him around but be a bit childish/stupid to do it later on.
With the way i normaly handle things im really suprised i never. Looks like i'm grown out of my ways lol

I would say dont go through insurance normally and if it was an accident but seen as this kid sounded like a massive clock sod it go through his insurance he might stop been a pen15 then when it gets too expensive for him to have anything different to drive, agreed with the above also should have KO'd him

I do agree with you blazin, but how many times i've deckded people to do with my car doesnt get any one always gonna be another tw*t who doesnt know you and wants to be a **** on the road. Now if i had my girl, well any kind of female or a little one. Now that be different....He be in hospital with no teeth and he be there for a while.
Blazing would say we have the same principles expect mine been getting me in trouble, so decided only to use my anger at the right times.

well my car is my car and if some guy was touching my bumper and then done that i would snap hes obviously a tit in need of some manners ashley

Lmao....

blazin, what would you do if someone spilt your pint then? :eyebrows:

That would be fair enough, car is your pride and joy, house is your home and kids well nothing really more important than them.

no honest im not a nobhead im a gental guy if someone spilt my pint fair enough i can even take ten lads calling me a **** honest i can take a laugh with anyone but car, house, kids , is a different kettle

Would have to disargee with you there, if the stupid ****** never came so far up my **** i would of happly let him over take me was just the fact he was trying to intimidate which i do not take. And about 2 foot away from my bumper. Thinks he can do that and im gonna let him over take me naaa. But thanks for the comment. Well i'd say 100% he done it on purpose but after he came down on his high, reality hit him and was trying to make out is was by mistake!

TBH you should have let him past in the first place, but that's no excuse for him hitting your car - I'd definitely go through insurance, was it even an accident him hitting you?

Hi Don

Thanks for the comment mate, i know if it was some one decent i wouldnt of thought about going through insurance. The guy car has no damage new head lights and bumper needs spraying that be it! lol taking the **** abit mate. My insurance said they will try and claim my £500 back! Try dont they mean i will get it back!

Nasty one Ash!

LMAO! Nice one Nigel!

Yeap Wellies & Sheep, if you see a sheep with its front legs leaning over a hedge or wall you know you're in wales, lol :undwech:
Scott what you mean by that mate?! lol
oohhhh, he's from Wales, that explains it all. lol

:nyah:

Didnt you know, old Ash is the Kingpin of Wales, lol

Hi Scott

Thanks for that....Lol thats is true, most of the time they think its drugs! I dont even take drugs let alone deal it! lol

Absolutely gutted for you mate. I can relate to being young (just turned 19) with a nice car. It's bad enough being 18 (or 19 now) with any half decent car, but an Audi or similar and instantly there's something dodgy about you.

Hi

Thanks for your comment. Think every one right about going through my insurance company. Is a shame how they always frame the victim as the suspect but what can you do lol

go through insurance, just to be on the safe side, his fault anyway!, use your mates as witness's shame how they always frame the victim as a suspect

Ash, I am sure you must have whiplash.....funny thing whiplash as it can take a couple of days to show.

Rather than going through the insurance and paying your excess for them then have to claim it back and all of the messing around. Phone the solicitors. You'll pay nothing, get a courtesy car and they'll sort it all out for you.

The wifes Golf got wrote off in December, I spoke to my insurance who wanted me to first settle my insurance (it was being paid monthly) then I had a £350 excess which need to be paid up etc etc.

I phoned one of those non fault accident lines (Winn Solicitors) and they sorted it all. The insurance where notified but not involved at all. They dealt directly with his insurance company.

I thought it was all tosh and didnt really approve of the where there blame theres a claim bull##t but when it happens to you and they can sort it all out hassle free, with no money coming out of your pocket up front you'd be silly not to.

We got more than market value for the car (rather than the industry Black book) had the courtesy car and got paid out within 3 weeks.

Use the Solicitors - he rear ended you - its his fault simple as that.

They'll deal with all of the correspondance and liabilities and deal with your whiplash claim if you so desire to claim for it.

The wifes whiplash claim is due to go through shortly.

I used Winn Solicitors many years back and had a hassle free eexperience.

Cost me nothing, they organised the repair, loan car etc.

Recommended.

Christ on a bike.... Mate, seriously thats unbelievable. You've got WAY more tolerance than me. Spur of the moment like that i'm pretty sure i'd have lost it and done something i'd later regret in court. Was the dude off his tits on something or what?! Never heard of anyone being rammed several times for no reason!

Without any question whatsoever, get it put through the insurance and contact a solicitor. You should have claimed whiplash as well (crawled out of the car holding your neck). You definitely don't owe that tw*t any favours so just look after your own car.

The crap thing about this is the police's attitude. I will guarentee you that they saw a young lad with a slightly modified car and immediately assumed you were racing with that guy and thus it's your own fault.

On a side note, if it were me (for legal reasons this is a lie) i'd wait til the dust had settled and your car was fully repaired then he'd be having all 4 tyres slashed and maybe a few crude paintwork modifications.
I'm not some vigilante thug but as others have said, if you'd got your mrs or a kid in the car that behaviour deserves some kind of come back.

Anyway, good luck with it all buddy!

Ahh funny thing is me and my mate did go hospital regarding whiplash so will be putting a claim in. So thanks for that Mac. I seen on the other thread your little man got footie saturday? You still reckon you be going to the met? I'll be in a different audi not my baby. She going in thursday.

Ash, I am sure you must have whiplash.....funny thing whiplash as it can take a couple of days to show.

Thanks for this information. Insurance is in my mum name im a named driver, so i've shown her this and i think she contacted them yesterday.
Thats really good they dealt with every thing for you.
Not bad at all had a car and got paid out in 3 weeks and over the book price. Thanks for that, has really helped :)

Thanks

Well first i had to think if i deck him now, my friend who got out a jail just over a week ago is going to go for him to and he be back in for another 3 years. And with my older cousin there he go straight in for 18months. So i ahd to think of what would happen after i hit him? And then what would jappen to them lol so i just well scared the guy.
Guy was 100% on some thing i think coke if im being honest. You could tell by the kinda buzz he was on (never taken coke myself seen people take it).
Yeah is going through insurance a lot easier as people has said why should i do him favours and not go through it, if it was a genuine mistake i would just asked him to buy me a bumper and get it sprayed and fitted no insurace job. But because he was a ******* drugged up idiot no favours :)
Haha crawled out of the car holding my neck that made me laugh lol.
Its p*ssing me off when i can see it. I still cant get over the **** lol.

Christ on a bike.... Mate, seriously thats unbelievable. You've got WAY more tolerance than me. I would agree with that saw me in my a3 and assumed i was racing with this ********.
haha mate dont think its not crossed my mind. (also for legal reasons this is 100& a lie). If my mrs was me would of been a different storey i would off 100% decked him and what ever happened after it with the police wouldnt of bothered me.
Thanks for the comment

Ashley

If you have a non fault accident you can use a recovery company who will get your car repaired on credit to be paid by his insurers. They will also give you a hire car equivalent to your car (I got a brand new BMW 320d with 6k miles on it), instaed of a micra and dleiver it to you and pick up your car for you. They'll also get it to a decent place like Ridgeway.

They also have solicitors you can use to claim for whiplash/damages etc.

And you don't have to pay a penny out for it!!!

Bristol and London prestige car replacement (01275 841111) are who I used.
