PI Springs on S4

Regardless of what dampers you intend to run, I wouldn't advice the fitment of PI springs on an S4.

Exactly, which is why I was asking for peoples views.... Im really struggling to find anything apart from H&R, which I know are really good, but dont want to spend 260 quid on springs

Id be more than happy with Eibach, Ive been you cant buy them anymore though, and after spending most of the day hunting I think its true! :(

markb over on audisrs had pi springs - think he still has them on

I have the eibach's got them from german ebay

We used the Eibachs for a 2.5TDi Quattro Avant on Craigs S4, as the axle weights most closely matched those of the original S4 Saloon springs.

I figured that the weight of the 2.5TDI motor would roughly equal that of the S4 lump (two small turbos and 30v heads against a big turbo and a rotary derv pump...)

They seem to work just fine, if anything the rear is a tiny bit high when sitting empty, but i'm sure that when its on the road with people in it it'll sit just right.

Yep, we used the avant version of those springs which gave a slight rake front to rear, as you can probably see in the images. The saloon versions will most likely make it sit level.

I ran Pi springs on my old Avant and they were.. well.. ok.

I managed to get the Eibach spring kit for my 1.8T without any bother, in fact the springs arrived in the workshop within 24 hours of being ordered

H&R spring kits are cheaper on german eBay. Look for tuningtrend shop, cheap and quick postage to the uk.

Cheers, got a link? I couldnt find it (my German is crap lol)
