Hi anyone know if the S3 side skirts will fit my new sline black edition ? parked mine next my mate's S3 and it looked odd at the sides ...like something was missing !! NHN does yours have the S3 skirts and if so what did thay cost you? any chance of some photo's please cheers

maybe you could elaborate on odd as I fitted the skirts to my a3 & they fit & look great, much better than votex, cost more than votex though.
Is your black edition facelift, just to check & is his facelift?
Remember it will look odd without the s3 front aswell because of the styling & I think maybe lower, mine looks odd at rear until the new valance is painted.

I think he means his looked odd next to the S3 because his didnt have them. All the front ends on the facelifts look a lot deeper so it does look like theres something missing with no skirts fitted.
facelift is a confusing word these days, do you mean skirts off a 09 facelift or skirts off 06 facelift? :thumbsup:
Hi sorry if i was not clear mine is a two week old Sline black edition and my mates is a 07 S3 ....its just mine looks like something is missing from the sides cos it just curls under but his has the skirts and looks finished off if you know what i mean !!
Thats the difference between S3 & A3 mate, virtually feck all huh, this has been a long standing discussion as to how bland the S3 styling seemed to be against the older S3 I had, but I will say the skirts on mine make it look better for sure
The S3 overall looks to much like an A3 interms of styling, nothing really makes you think its an S version so much, only IMHO of course, but guess they thought the engine solely does the talking which for some it does, for me I would have preferred more.
But ye get some on, but take note its not just the skirts, you need new sills aswell & door bottoms, I wrote up on this while back, do a search.
When its finished & detailed then I'll post up, but for now I'll remain The Shadow, lol
Chicken, lol, it will look better & you wont even consider the amount of work & money put into it, now when I see it I think why didnt I do it sooner, sides improved alot over stock, what an a3 should have looked like on at least the sline & the s3 should have been even more extreme for sure.
u cant, u have to mail mods/admins & they will amend but dont think its an everyday option mate, choose it wisely & stick to it cause they wont appreciate constant requests for name changes from same user.
