Good garage for engine lift

Anyone know a good garage with cheap labour rate that can do an engine lift on my s4? I live in the south east but can travel for a good place!

I'm not sure how complex of a job it is to lift one of these, or if it's just labour intensive.. if it's complex then I'd rather pay MRC or someone to do it properly, but if not I'd want to find someone a bit cheaper (ideally not VAT registered)!!

i guess its one of those things, its no more complicated than any other engine to remove, however someone who knows what they're doing (ie MRC or Unit20) is likely to do the job quicker with less chance of a **** up, and are likely to know of any quirks etc, but then you pay for this experience.

When you start getting into slightly dodgy outfits doing work cash in hand, things could get really bad. If they break things when removing it, inevitably it wont be their fault, and how sure can you be that the work is done properly and will actually last...

Yeah thats a fair point, might have to consider a k04 upgrade etc to make it worth my while, wouldnt be able to stand paying 1k to take the engine out only to put a new manifold on

Talk to Siena hes doing one now full engine out job for an oil leeks plus the guy want him to do a load more work.

Other wise I have another friend near the Elephant.
