Anybody have the new RS6 alloys on their A3?

I am thinking about new alloys for summer and these have caught my eye

Anybody have them on their A3 yet? I seen them in the titanium colour audi do and they look the dogs! :wub: For anybody interested the titanium ones can be seen here on youtube (@ 42 secs in):

I think the genuine ones will be too big and wrong offset, Replicas only for the A3 i reckon however there are 2 types of replicas, some are plain silver, some are a slightly dark high power silver that looks more OEM. be careful out there!
 
Aren't they 20"? I like them on the RS6 but they will look ridiculous on an A3. Too big. 19s max!

You can get replicas of them as far as I know but there are nicer wheels out there!

Yes like yours Boydie :) Just a lil out of my price range with the other mods I have planned, but the CH's are high up on my list of favourites.

Thats alright, contact them see if they do them in 19's? Im on the hunt for 19's now! Just need to pick what alloys and save lol. Like your ideas with the wheels depending on colour wrap you go for. Im looking on getting that wrap around may june time just to stop me from getting bored with my car.

Yes mid-late June sounds good mate, as you say add a little bit of va-va-voom back to the car :)

i quite like em ,,,but not in silver i it dosent look great with lava grey,, oem silver i dont like with lava grey theres a wheel finish company down here in manc heres the link but thats more money again ?? http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/File/manchester_details.php

for finish and price the rs4 reps from wheelbase next to lava grey look the nuts i tryed em today they really suit the colour so much there kinda chromey it makes the car look classy i was gonna do the stealth thang but i think i cheapens the cars looks,,, im trying to stay audi looking if you know what i mean im getting em tomoz next week getting it lowered hopefully then il post pics defo

Not quite. 18 inch ET54 versions can be ordered in the German market. Part number 8P0 601 025BH for about £400 each.

i think he want reps in 19 inch not og there to expensive for his budget john
 
Thanks to John i got these alloys ordered yesterday from Audi for my new S3. 2 weeks delivery but the big question is will they look good on the car??
 
10blazin, I know what you mean.... it's hard to curb the spending.... I forget we are in a recession every time I think about the changes I'd like to make to my car! The RS4's at wheel base look like they have more concave than the OG Audi A3 version which seems a bit flat in comparison. I was initially planning to get the RS4's myself... but my neighbor has an RS6 the lucky @*** and the wheels look amazing on that car.
I'm sure a bit of that magic can be transferred when fitted to the A3.

I hope that the rep's do not lose the concave that the OG's have.

give it a shot i was thinking them myself for sumut different,,, but the rs4s from wheelbase are lovely for the price top finish thats why i went for them,, but i bet yours will look nice.... once you get your tires you can by a couple of set of reps and swap em over i was thinking cos there only about 350 for a set and with wrapping now available wew hew ....gona be great
 
gotta do it nate thats all i got the doe for at the mo and my last reps were fine ....
 
plus if one did buckle there about 90 quid to replace not 250 like og i was gonna get bbs rims but for the same price im getting reps falcons tires and lowered... and it will still look very nice or i could of got the bbs this month tires next lowered after that i cant wait that long and theres no way i could have bbs sat in my house for a month it would send me mad
 
Id quite like the titanium ones in the youtube vid on mine... I wonder how much they are from Audi :O

haha i know im paying a bit more cos im getting falcon tires but safety is a must i cant be running slippy cheap tires i got a baba ...but yeah im booked in at 12 im getting the rs4 shiney reps they look really nice
 
No worries RS, i'm still waiting on confirmation with regards to the date of the car arriving but the salesman was thinking late May or start of June but hopefully i'll see the wheels in the next couple of weeks.

got back from wheels base b4 the car still needs dropping and the pics aint great but il put more up when dropped on a better camera

They look good 10blazin, but I think you should get the lighter grey center caps... nice finsh :icon_thumright:

Glad I could help you out :sm4:. Are you looking to buy RS6 reps? The car is not mine but a friend's. I'm driving a 2008 S3. I will post some pictures later. It is still virtually stock except for a few minor mods.

1. Lamin-X tint on headlights and fogs
2. Re-upholstered my seat with alfa red and black leather (bought it with the leather/ cloth combi)
3. RS4 start button
4. LED interior light conversion

I will have it chipped with APR software next week.
 
S3LEB, is your friends A3 lowered? Thats a good look on those wheels however a bit lower would make it look even better :thumbsup:
 
Alright folks,

Well to my suprise my new RS6 alloys for my new S3 arrived today at my local Audi garage after just ordering them on Monday & i have to be honest i am not disapointed with them at all. Also to my suprise i got a 10% discount which was ace. Unfortunately i just have to wait for the new car arrive, lol. Here is some pics to give you an idea of them. Now i just need to set up a buyer for the original S3 alloys!!

Cheers brucer! That's very helpful... seems they haven't done a bad job on the replica's this time round as the reps look mighty like your ones... Obviously the quality is different, but in terms of general appearance and concave, by jove! I think they've got it :)

They will certinaly be individual and unlikely to see another S3 with genuines!

The dealer swapping the tyres for you?
