MuFu and Cruise Retrofit

Hello fellas

Im about to retrofit cruise to my A3 MY08 Sportback.
Having searched for ages through this site and some german ones i
finally realised that i dont have to change my Steering ECU afterall.

My Part number is 1K0 953 549 AH which, as many people have said, works 100% with the genuine Cruise Control kit.

The thing is this though: Does anyone of you know if this particular version (the AH) can also work with a mufu steering wheel ?

I currently got in my hands a 8P0953549F module too and was wondering if it would be better selling it at fleebay or keeping it for future usage.

Considering that in the future i would be retrofitting a MF steering wheel what should i do? Use the F module or stick with the AH?

The AH module does NOT work with a MFSW. I fitted a MFSW to Mikeys car a month or so back he has 1K0 953 549 AH and the MF does not work. The slip ring fitted to his car was the correct version to work with 8P0953549F.

So in answer to your question keep the F version

I have an F fitted to mine, it works with both cruise and the MFSW.

I HAVE CRUISE CONTROL BUT IT DOSENT TELL ME THE SPEED IM DOING ,I KNOW BY LOOKING AT THE CLOCK YEAH BUT ON THE AUDI CHANNEL IM SURE ITS DISPLAYED DIGITALY I THINK ON THE DIS ..CAN THIS BE DONE ON MINE OR NEWER MODELS ONLY MINES AN 06 SLINE

I can display a digital speedo on my DIS. So it looks like an 07 onwards feature.I guess you've pressed the button under the stalk (and the caps lock key!) to page through the DIS modes?

Yes thats the correct slip ring mate

The part number for the flat bottom multi function air bag and wheel is 8J0 971 589 B

The standard MFSW uses a different loom i think
