Had them bolted on on Saturday morning over at AMD by Lakeside in Thurrock. Can't fault their service really though tbh I didn't hang around - I just left them to get on with it. Which is exactly what they did.

Anyhow as soon as I got back in the car and eased off I immediately noticed how much smoother the low speed ride was. The car no longer crashes over imperfections in the road surface and feels like it has a bit more sophistication to it. It just goes to show how over stiff the standard springs are really.

Initial thoughts on the journey home were crikey it's a bit bouncy but having given the springs a couple of days to settle everything seems fine now. The car feels just as planted as before.

Ride height wise I can't say I've notice much difference tbh but I wasn't really expecting much (hence no pics) and it wasn't the main reason for the purchase in the first place. If it had of been I'd have gone for the Sportline's.

One strange but very welcome benefit is that with 12mm spacers on the rear I used to get a slight bit of rubbing over a particularly nasty local speed bump but not anymore, which is nice!

Cool, if you wanted your S line lower you could have gone for the Sportline Eibachs. You seem to be confirming what everyone else says, aftermarket kits ride better than the nasty harsh S line springs! I didnt mind mine at first but now they are getting tedious!

My S-Line came with Eibach's and the ride was definitely very good.

The team at AMD are all top guys, and always highly recommended by me.

And another post which makes me want to bin my standard S-line springs!

IM GETTING MINE DONE FROM DPM NEXT WEEK HOPEFULLY I WANT AS LOW AS I CAN ON SPRINGS BUT HOPE THERE NOT AS HARSH AS SLINES DAMIEN SAYS EIBACH ARE SOFTER RIDE THAN H&R BUT H&R BETTER QAULITY AND LIGHTER IM CONFUSED WHICH TO GET NOW

I have been looking at getting mine lowered, I have been looking at the spring and shock sets. Would these be better than just fitting the springs? I am looking to lower her about 35mm. My car is the sport modal so should see about 25mm difference I hope

IF YOU NEED NEW SHOCKS YEAH IF YOUR SHOCKS ARE FINE THEN DONT BOTHER MY CAR HAS DONE 26000 MILES SO IM JUST GETTING SPRINGS THE SHOCKS ARE FINE THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN ADVISED ANYHOW

I've done just over 50k I have always thought that to get a good setup you should get shocks too due to them already being under load with shorter springs. But I guess with only a little difference in ride height does not affect it.
