Dude, no you didn't HAVE to bring this thread back to life lol. Although to be honest this thread (well not this one, the original theft one) is the highlight of my time here on AS.net so far.
Seriously though, was anything ever uncovered about if this was a real crime or not?! Absolutely bizarre! For those of you who missed it.... You missed an absolute treat.

yeah I did - it's pure comedy! Admit it, you had a good old laugh reading it back!
Agreed - this thread was a highlight in my time at ASN. Basically fichcakes cropped up in another forum and we started reminiscing about this thread - pure comdey from start to finish. I read it back last night and was crying with laughter!
Back to the serious note that kicked it off - no I never heard a thing about what really happened in the end! It was incredibly bizarre though.
Though I do remember in that original thread that police had told the original poster that the thieves had started targeting S3's over RS4's, due to their better preformance, nicer interior and greater fuel economy :busted_cop:
