Upgraded Brake Discs For 2.0TDI A3

I'm planning on getting the discs and pads from EBC (using greenstuff pads) and getting the caliper carriers from VW/Audi. I'm just about to phone them for a price.

Did you get a price for the carriers?

Mine will be needing discs and pads in the next few months so it would be rude not to upgrade them!:thumbsup:

However, to upgrade to 312mm (A3 V6 brakes), the only differences are the brake caliper carriers and the discs themselves. The calipers and the pads are the same parts.

The A3 3.2 V6, S3, R32 MK5, LCR MK2 all have 345mm discs - They're all the same but in diff colours and the S3 has the S3 plague at the front and aesthically a bit diff.

But to upgrade to the 312mm (Same as the Golf GTI) - as above - just need the carriers and discs.

im still struggling to find out the standard rear disc size on a 2.0tdi 140??

i have finally found the information i was looking for so thought i would post it on here for others:

2.0 TDi 140PS....

Std fronts are 288 x 25

Std rears are 255 x 10

Did you find any vented drilled disks? I need a set of disks and pads up front and was also after the aesthetic value... My current wheels show alot of the disk and my new ones will be even worse! £££ Is not available for the 312/345mm conversion, will get some good pads.

Where do I find the drilled vented disks? And how much?
