Washed my car and found one of my foglights was loose because its bracket had snapped.
When I took the foglight out I saw how much space it takes up in the intake duct for the intercooler. Seems to me it must be restricting the airflow to the intercooler. Has anyone noticed the same?
I've taken them both out whilst I repair the bracket, but also noticed the large amount of leaves, dead wasps and general crap on the front of the intercooler!
I've cleaned out as much as I could, but has anyone found a good way to clear the intercooler, like blowing compressed air from the back of them?
I know a FMIC is the best option but its not something I want to do at the moment - instead I'm thinking of leaving the fog lights out and finding a way to clean the intercooler. Has anyone done anything similar? Considering how small the SMIC surface area is, I want them to work as best they can!
